Hello everyone! Okay, the title might have been a bit of a clickbate I'm not dying. Mother nature decided that my (not) monthly torture should visit me. Yes, that's right I'm on my period. *sigh* another unfair thing that women have to go through. And it isn't even the humanity's fault this time. If I recall correctly, in my biology class, i learnt that sperms just dissolve if not used. There wasn't much detail, but the thing is that while men can plant their seed without being tortured, us women have to go through hell once a month AND IT IS NOT EVEN CONSIDERED A BIG DEAL.

I guess having a hormone condition thingy has its pros- I get my period three to four times a year. I'm not aiming on having children either way so i guess it doesn't really matter. Anyway- I feel like women should have some sort of advantages when they are on their period. Eg, moody behaviour at school, college (or uni) and work could be excused and they could have a number of days they can have off. I don't know about you but sometimes the pain is too much to even consider moving. I get sick and throw up, the temprature is either too warm or too cold etc. Maybe women could have like- 24 special days a year that we can ditch if the pain is too bad (imma use school as an example) and like- we can show proof of our periods so that our abscence is marked to be one of the 24 special days and we don't get in trouble because of it.

Anyways, thankfully i haven't had these extremely painful cramps yet. I usually get them in Summer so I might get through this whole thing without them. I still do feel really tired and have huge mood swings. I really have no motivation to write anything- sorry guys.

So yeah imma be off for a while, until it stops.

Do you have any advice for periods? (either for the cramps, staining your clothes and bed sheets, mood swings or other symptoms?)

Bye for now,

🔴Sophie🔴
