Hello everyone! It really has been quite a while since I've updated, and as I (hopefully) have honed and sharpened my writing skills ... I hope you'll enjoy what I write.
Also, I have taken some of your suggestions and criticisms in the comments, hence, I'll try my best to make Y/n more of a warrior rather than a "damsel that needs saving", some changes I will hope to make in the story would be:
-Making Y/n gender neutral, as I would like to provide more gender inclusivity!
-Perhaps altering events in the movies? I would love to hear some feedback from you all!!
You weaved yourself through the crowd, today was one of the days where you and your brother were let off for the day, so, why not visit home?
As you balanced some piping hot bowls of noodles on your wings, you served each customer's order with diligence and care, somehow not even breaking a sweat while doing so.
"Dad! I'm done for the day!" You shout to your dad, who is currently untying his century-old apron, it's always been a mystery to you and your brother as to how he's been maintaining it.
Making your way into the kitchen, he nodded, "Take a break for the day," nudging a pouch of copper coins your way, he also smiled, "here's your pay, you earned it, kid."
You grinned, thinking about various luxuries you could spend the money on, "Thanks Dad! I appreciate it!"
In the end, you actually spent your day wandering around the streets, looking for something to spend your hard earned money on but to no avail.
It was until you noticed a goose padding your way that you gave up, "Y/n...! Y-"
You quirked a brow at the goose, you didn't think many people knew your name, since citizens mostly referred to you as "The Phoenix Warrior".
Upon further inspection, it turned out that the goose was a messenger from the Jade Palace. The goose wheezed from fatigue, and managed to squeak out a few simple words which you managed to understand the general idea.
"Musician's Village....potential... raid..."
"Need.... help... protect..."
Musician's Village might be under attack.
