June POV:

Bonnie and I arrived at my apartment.

I glanced around quickly as we walked in, hoping Alex hadn't left a mess lying around. And thankfully, he hadn't.

"Nice apartment. Very cozy. Reminds me of you..." Bonnie remarked.

"Heh, thanks. I don't like to have too much going on, so I didn't really go out with the decorating."

"I like it, it's simple. A stark contrast to what my apartment is like haha. But it's refreshing seeing something so different."

Hearing her say that reminded me that she and I still didn't really know too much about each other. I wanted to use this time now to change that. At this point, we were both sat on my couch in the living area.

"So, what do you like to do on your own?" I asked her.

"Hmm, I don't know, ooh! I really enjoy roller skating. I ended up buying my own set, and now I always make time to skate around the block whenever I can. How about you?"

"Anything artsy really. I enjoy things that give me a lot of creative freedom. Speaking of which, can I show you something?"

"Sure!"

I got up from the couch and walked over to a closet nearby. I grabbed what I wanted and sat back down.

"Um, I like to paint sometimes, so I made these. What do you think?" I asked nervously.

She stared at my paintings attentively. It seemed like she was studying them. Finally, she looked at me and answered.

"Wow, you are really talented! These are really beautiful, June."

Ba-dump. There went my heart. Beating quicker and quicker because of Bonnie's kind words. Mia had always told me that my paintings were a waste of time. Bonnie was like a breath of fresh air. That I so desperately needed after feeling like I was suffocating for so long.

My body moved on its own and my lips found their way onto hers.

Bonnie POV:

I gasped after being caught off-guard.

June quickly pulled back and focused his eyes anywhere but me. His face was red as a tomato, I couldn't believe it.

"Hey...June..."

He refused to look back at me.

"Juunne..." I sang as I poked his shoulder.

"Sigh" I gently placed my hand on his cheek as I turned his face towards mine. "Look at me."

His twinkling eyes finally met mine.

"I never want to stop looking at you." He spoke softly.

"Then don't." I then leaned in a connected our lips once again.

What was once a soft peck, turned into a passionate kiss that was accompanied by the dancing of our tongues. His soft whimpers, egged me on ever further as our hands roamed each other bodies. After what seemed like forever, I finally pulled away.

"W-why'd you stop...?" He asked while breathing heavily.

"You're hurt, and if we continue, I know that I'll want to go further..."

I wrapped his arms around my neck as he slowly pulled me closer.

"Please....I need you, Bonnie..." His eyes traveled between my eyes and lips as he stared at me with yearning.
