June POV:

Waking up next to Bonnie became something that I constantly looked forward to whenever she would stay over. Getting to relish in her raw beauty and peaceful look of sleep was a privilege that I never hoped to lose. Like most times when she would stay over, we'd end up naked in the morning. It's not that we were sex maniacs, but that it seemed impossible to keep our hands off each other. 

Leaning over towards the nightstand I checked the time. 

10:34 am.

Normally, I'd yawn and lay my head back to rest, however, we both had plans to go grocery shopping early this morning since my fridge was practically barren. 

Gently placing my hand on her shoulder I began to nudge her awake.

"...honey..." I spoke softly. That became my new nickname for her. I had called her it once out of the blue and the name just...stuck. 

Bonnie made the sound of a groan and she began to stir awake. I chuckled at the wide stretch her body did as she started to become conscious. 

"Goodmorning love." I smiled while placing a peck on her cheek. 

"Morning baby...sorry I am not quite the morning bird. But, there is much to be done..." She replied as she let out another yawn.

That's when we finally got out of bed and began our morning routine. I let Bonnie shower first, while I got my clothes ready for the day. Today would be a quick breakfast of cereal so that we'd get to the supermarket earlier before it got crowded. 

"June! Can you pass me my toothbrush? I forgot to grab it!" Bonnie called from the bathroom. 

Sighing to myself I went and grabbed it while sliding it behind the shower curtain.

"I still can't understand how you can brush your teeth in the shower." 

"Listen, when you're in a rush, you gotta do what you gotta do." 

I laughed softly at her reply. 

Bonnie POV: 

We finally left the house and drove to the supermarket.  It was still slightly crowded by that was to be expected. After scanning the area I finally spoke up. 

"Okay, so how about I handle the pantry items and you head over to the refrigerated and frozen aisle. Just to get things done quicker."

"Alright, I see you in a bit." He placed a quick kiss on my cheek and I smiled as he grabbed a shopping cart for himself and strolled away. 

"...pasta, canned veggies, cereal..."  I mumbled to myself quietly and began to head in the direction of the items I was looking for. 

June POV:

Looking through the line of refrigerators I searched for each of the items on the shopping list that Bonnie had helped me put together. 

"Why do you live like you're in an apocalypse?! Hang on, gimme that list." She had said.

I had gotten most of the necessities so now I was browsing through the frozen treats. I smiled as I spotted the ice cream that Bonnie liked: Triple Chocolate. I never had much of a sweet tooth but that changed after meeting Bonnie. One or two cavities wouldn't hurt as long as I got to see Bonnie smiling.
