Good Boy~

 {It has been like 3 days since the events in the last chapter btw}

June POV:

Ever since Bonnie and I became official, I couldn't help but wake up every morning smiling. Things were really starting to look up for me. After so much fucked up shit happening, it was refreshing to be truly happy and content. 

My phone buzzed and I checked the notification from Bonnie.

- Good morning, Junie! Have a good day today okay?

This was a new routine for us and I wouldn't ask for anything else, I replied as I normally would and began to prepare for my day at school. Once my morning routine was done, I headed off to the coffee shop. 

As usual, Alex was sitting at a table awaiting my arrival. 

"Here." Alex slid me my drink as I sat down.

"So? How have things been with your new boo thang?" 

"Ugh, don't use that phrase, it sounds cringy coming from your mouth..."

"Oh shut up. Look, I'm just curious you know? I didn't expect you to able to move on so soon."

Was it really that quick? I didn't think so...

"Sometimes things just happen", I chuckled awkwardly. "...aren't you happy for me?"

Alex sighed heavily.

"Of course I'm happy for you man! But you can't blame me for being worried! I'm already pissed at myself for letting you suffer through all that shit and not even making an effort to help."

"You can't blame yourself, you didn't even really know."

"That's not the point. I don't want it to happen again. Mia never looked like the type to do shit like that and ended up being fucking satan himself."

I appreciated, Alex, worrying about me. He always felt like an older brother who'd always have my back. But I didn't want him to worry too much. I can take care of myself, too.

"Look, if you're that worried...how about meeting her? I feel like you two would get along."

"I don't know if that's a good idea..."

"Oh come onnn. Please?"

I watched as Alex contemplated his decision for a few seconds.

"Ah fuck it. Sure, why not."

- um hey! i was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place and hang out with a friend and I? He's really chill and cool. I just want you two to meet. 😅

-oh that seems cool. sure! what time do you want me to swing by?

-uhh i guess like 6:30 would be good?

-okay ill be there 😊

-see you then!

It was all set up. Bonnie and Alex would be meeting each other formally for the first time!
