Anna looked at her father in disbelief. She couldn't believe that all of this was connected with the supernatural. She couldn't even believe that the supernatural existed or that it was even real at all. To be honest, she didn't even believe him.

"You can't be serious." Anna sighed, "You're lying."

"I wouldn't lie to you about something as important as this." Deaton said.

"So, basically, you told me the truth about everything? About the supernatural? About Scott being an Alpha wolf and Kaelin being a vampire?" Anna snapped, "Sorry if I don't believe you."

"I know that it sounds crazy, but it's true." Deaton said, "I've been assisting Scott and Kaelin, but only when they really needed my help. I would stay out of it unless there was no other choice."

"This doesn't sound crazy. It sounds insane." Anna remarked as she started pacing. She started thinking it all through. "I just believe that you are coming up with an absurd excuse so that they can stay here."

"I wouldn't lie about someone's family being burned alive." Deaton said, "That's Kate's job."

"Right! Kate? Allison's supposed psycho aunt that burned alive Kaelin's entire family." Anna said sarcastically.

"I didn't want to tell you any of this, but Scott's right. When the time comes, I can't be the only druid to help them." Deaton said.

"You're insane." Anna snapped, "I am not some therapist."

"A druid is not a therapist. They are very helpful and intelligent. They help the pack that they are associated with, and I happen to be associated with the McCall pack." Deaton said offended.

"There is no such thing as a pack." Anna snapped, "There is no such thing as any of this."

"Belle, I wouldn't lie to you." Deaton said.

"Really? Because if you're telling me the truth, then you've been lying to me my entire life." Anna snapped, "Did mom even really die in a car crash?" Deaton froze.

"Anna-" Deaton started.

"No! This isn't real! This can't be real! My mother couldn't of died from this!" Anna snapped, "No! You know what? I'm gonna go! I'm gonna see Mason! The only person that I can actually trust!"

"Anna, please." Deaton pleaded, but Anna already walked off. She made her way towards the front door, but Kaelin stood in her way.

"Move." Anna ordered.

"Look. I understand that you're angry, but your father is doing his best." Kaelin said, "I don't agree with his decisions either, but we can't change them."

"Everything that happened here in Beacon Hills. That all started because of your family's issues with whatever the Argents are. This. Is. Your. Fault. It's your whole family's fault. If Kate hadn't burned your family alive, we wouldn't even be in this situation right now." Anna snapped and Kaelin glared at her. If glares could kill, Anna would be 6-ft under ground.

"If I weren't here, your father would have never told you the truth." Kaelin snapped, "If I hadn't of wasted all of my energy kicking the punching bag, then your ass would be all the way in Cairo by now. Insult my family again and you'll see what I can really do."

"Try me." Anna threatened.

"I have been nice to you, Anna. Hearing you insult me behind my back. I've heard you insult my best friend, and now you're insulting my dead family." Kaelin snapped, "You're even insulting your father by acting this way. Your father saved my life and so did Scott, so did my family. Without your father I would be dead, without Scott the whole of Beacon Hills would collapse. Let's not forget that without Stiles, Scott would have never been able to become a hero like that in the first place. Your father is a hero. I don't agree that he hid this from you, but I do know that he did it to protect you. If anyone has a chance to save their family, to protect them. Then they will, and that's what your father did. That's what I would've done if I still had my family. That's what I would do to protect Stiles, to protect Scott, to protect everyone that I love." Anna looked to her shocked. "I know that I'm a monster to you. I know that, but just go. Go back and talk to your father. He needs you. More than you'll ever know."
