Third Person P.O.V

The three of them went into their heads. But, it felt so real. Scott awoke, soaking wet. He had no idea where he was. He was scared at this point. He didn't know if it was going to work or not, and he wasn't prepared to lose someone closest to him. He would fall apart, if that ever happened. He turned around swiftly as he heard a sound and saw himself. His younger self using his phone to find his inhaler. He remembered the night that changed everything. It was the night he was bitten. The night that everything changed. He watched as himself struggled to find his inhaler, he couldn't stop him. He couldn't warn his younger self. He couldn't watch himself fall apart again.

The night where all of their lives changed. The night that changed their future. If they never went out that night, lives wouldn't have been lost. Jackson wouldn't have been the kanima. But, if they didn't Scott wouldn't have been a werewolf. They would have probably known about it since Kaelin is a part of the Hale family, but he wouldn't have been a werewolf.

What if there was a future? A life where they didn't go out that night? A life with no supernatural. Well you know what I mean. The life where Scott wasn't a werewolf. A life where Peter was still an Alpha? Where he terrorized his daughter? Where she couldn't protect herself? Where she alone was pulled into the supernatural.

This one event changed everything.

Scott just watched as his younger self got attacked by the Alpha, before walking towards a tree. While Stiles was watching his younger self, young Scott, and young Kaelin walk into the forest.

'Come on Scott. Your always the one whining that nothing happens in this town.' Stiles says annoyed.

'Yeah, everything except drama at school.' Kaelin said rolling her eyes.

'There is no drama at school.' Stiles said.

'Yeah? Well, I have to live with Jackson.' Kaelin retorted, 'You would be annoyed too when you desperately want your two best friends together, but your brother and Lydia do an on and off relationship.'

'Well, I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow.' Scott said, trying to move on from the subject.

'Right, cause sitting on the bench is such a grueling effort.' Stiles remarked, and Kaelin sends Scott a sympathetic look.

'Way to be supportive guys.' Scott muttered.

'Hey!' Kaelin exclaimed, 'I'm supportive! I go to all of your games even if you suck.'

'You also have to go there to see your brother.' Stiles retorted.

'That is beside the point. All I'm saying is that you guys are like brothers to me, and I am going to be cheering you on Scott.' Kaelin assured him.

'What about me?' Stiles piped in.

'You'll just have to wait until you make first line.' Kaelin said, laughing before walking forward.

Stiles didn't need a reminder of what they used to be. He didn't. He knew that no matter how hard they would try to get back to normal, they would never be normal. He remembered how they used to be, happy. Now, Kaelin was broken. Her heart shattered after all of her losses. There is part of her that wants to be happy again, but she's scared to try knowing that she could lose someone else next. She felt like Elena from the Vampire Diaries, except she never got time to cry. She never got time to grieve before something else came up. She wasn't a lot like Elena, only the loss part. She would fight and die protecting the ones she loves. But, Elena would rather cry and let Bonnie do everything for her. Stiles missed his dad. He couldn't lose him too. He knew that the supernatural life was dangerous, but he wasn't going to let his friends go through it alone. Stiles is the perfect best friend for anyone.
