"I should have saved you."
(Third Person Point of View)
She was dead. Kaelin was dead, and they couldn't save her or could they? They were able to win against the Nogitsune... But they didn't really win. They lost something, someone. They lost her. They lost Kaelin. Isaac wouldn't talk to anyone. No one truly felt the same pain he did, he lost a part of him. He lost his mate. Everyone missed her, everyone wanted to bring her back. The group of kids called 911. They didn't know what else to do. They didn't know what they were going to tell the police.
Sirens echoed in the air, as the group stood in Oak Creek. Kaelin was still in Isaac's arms. He was never going to let her go. Stiles was awake, realization that if he had never gotten possessed that this wouldn't have happened. Everyone was crying. Even though the Oni and the Nogitsune were gone, they didn't feel like they won. The group stood still and quiet. They were remembering all of the precious times they had with Kaelin. They still couldn't believe that she was gone. After everything, she fell.
Two squad cars arrived, with an ambulance. Not like the ambulance could do anything to help her, but it was still there. The cops had called her family, they didn't know what happened. They were just coming... Sheriff Stilinski got out of the car, tears stained on his face as he saw the girl who was like a daughter to him dead in Isaac's arms. He knew that Scott called him and told him what happened, but he didn't really believe it. When Stiles noticed his father there, he rushed over to him and pulled him into a hug. Some workers walked over with the stretcher to put Kaelin on.
"I couldn't save her Dad." Stiles cried, "I couldn't save her."
"Let's uh-Let's get her out of here." Sheriff Stilinski said. Isaac held on tight to Kaelin, not allowing for them to put her on the stretcher. Scott placed his hand calmly on Isaac's shoulder to comfort him.
"Let them take her." Scott said calmly. Isaac wouldn't turn to face anyway, he kept his eyes on Kaelin the entire time. He didn't want to let her go. "Don't cause a scene." Everyone looked at him bewildered at what he had said.
"DON'T CAUSE A SCENE?" Isaac exclaimed angrily, "SHE'S DEAD! SCOTT! SHE'S FUCKING DEAD AND I COULDN'T SAVE HER!" Isaac dropped down into tears, and the workers grabbed Kaelin and put her on the stretcher. Scott pulled Isaac into a hug, letting him cry in his arms.
"-Isaac uh-You can come with her." Sheriff Stilinski said softly, before he turned to the rest of them. "I suggest that all of you go home-"
"Shouldn't we-" Deputy Parrish started.
"They didn't have anything to do with what happened to her Parrish." Sheriff Stilinski snapped.
"We can't Dad." Stiles said sadly, "Home will never be home without her."
"I understand that, but I need you safe." Sheriff Stilinski said.
Sheriff Stilinski, Isaac, and the paramedics left with Kaelin's body.
Peter and Derek came over to the hospital as soon as they heard, but they didn't expect to go to the morgue. Isaac didn't leave the morgue, he sat there not believing what had happened. Isaac didn't leave her side. They all appeared at the morgue, and Melissa went with them knowing she knew about the supernatural. They placed her in the morgue. Melissa brought Sheriff Stilinski out the room so they could talk.
"Are you going to tell me what the hell happened?" Melissa ordered.
"I don't know what happened." Sheriff Stilinski said sadly.
"What do you mean you don't know what happened? Kaelin's dead body is in there!" Melissa exclaimed pissed, which got attention from people walking in the hallway. Melissa lowered her voice before continuing to talk to Sheriff Stilinski, but it was more like he was Papa Stilinski right now. "I thought she could heal."
