Kaelin walked in cautiously before turning over to Derek. He was pacing around the room and he didn't even realize that she was there.
'Derry, are you okay?' Kaelin asked worriedly and Derek's head snapped to the sound of her voice.
'What are you doing here, Kaely?' Derek asked softly as he made his way over to his favorite cousin.
'Y-You said movie marathon.' Kaelin said softly.
'Yeah, I did.' Derek said.
'We don't have to do it, Derry.' Kaelin said softly, 'I can just go.'
'No, it's fine.' Derek assured her before he picked her up.
'I think we should have something special.' Derek said and Kaelin giggled. 'I'll order us some pizza.'
I stood up with a throbbing headache. I was annoyed as Coach began barking orders.
"Guys back off." Coach snapped, "If anybody sees Garrett, you notify the police immediately. Then tell him he's off the team."
I rolled my eyes. Of course he would bring up lacrosse at a time like this. Violet nearly killed someone. I stood in the hallway and Anna walked up to me and looked at me worriedly.
"Are you okay?" Anna asked.
"I'm fine." I said, "Did she hurt you?"
"Well, she was about to, but you saved me." Anna answered.
I smiled softly at her. "You should get home. Get some rest. Watch a couple of Vampire Diaries episodes."
"I'll watch some of the Originals." Anna smirked, "I kind of have a thing for Elijah."
"So you have a thing for hot, sweet, and loyal guys?" I asked, and Anna's smile dropped.
"I'm not having this conversation with you." Anna said.
"I was just asking a question." I said, smiling innocently.
"I'm going." Anna sighed, before walking off.
I heard Agent McCall's insult causing me to laugh out loud.
I turned around to see Liam guarding the locker room.
"What are you guys doing?" I demanded.
"Scott is just- Honestly, I don't know what's he's doing." Liam answered.
"I never do either." I replied.
"Hey!" Scott called out offended and I smiled innocently over at him.
"Did you find anything?" I asked him.
"No. Nothing." Scott answered, but I could tell he was lying. I'll just ask him about it later.

I leaned against the doorway in my bedroom as I held my wallet out. I looked down at it, and back up into the direction where Melissa was. I was going to help her whether she likes it or not. The McCalls have done many things for me and it is time for me to return the favor. I pushed myself through the living room and sat down at the dining table where she looked stressed down at the bills. I pulled out my credit card before sliding it across the table towards her.
"Kaelin, no." Melissa said harshly as she pushed it back over to me.
"Just one time." I said softly, "For you to be able to get enough money to pay the bills."
"Wouldn't they have canceled your credit card?" Melissa asked confused.
"Well, Jackson convinced them to let it be." I said sadly, "Besides, I don't care what they think. They owe me. They left me on death bed three times. This is the least they can do."
