"You can't be serious." Kaelin snapped at Scott.
"She's got a point, Scott." Kira added.
"Kaelin, not all of us can go." Scott insisted.
"Then let Malia stay." Kaelin said, "Derek's my cousin. I'm going with you."
"I wouldn't mind staying." Malia shrugged. Scott sighed.
"Kaelin, I'm trying to protect you." Scott said, "We don't even know why he was captured."
"You think he was captured because of me?" Kaelin asked, tone full of disbelief. She turned around to Kira. "Nice to see you again, Kir."
"Nice to see you too." Kira smiled. Kira had earlier felt like she couldn't have said anything or done anything to make Kaelin's death better for them. All she wanted to do was help them, but she would fail. No one can ever get over a death, a loss like that. Kaelin didn't blame anyone for her death, but herself. She should've seen it coming ever since she got a little suspicious of Scott and his little talk about changing the body and the scroll. They must have talked about her turning then.
"Kaelin, we need someone here to make sure that nothing happens." Scott insisted.
"Like I said, Malia is perfectly capable of scouting out any danger." Kaelin said.
"Thank you!" Malia exclaimed.
"No problem and if you need help controlling your claws and anger in a fight, just let me know." Kaelin said back.
"I can not tell if you are serious right now, Lin." Stiles spoke up, "You are literally just talking to everyone here."
"Well, that's a thing when you come back from the dead and haven't since people in weeks." Kaelin said, "I'm probably the only one who has done that in this group anyway."
"Kaelin, you can just stay here with Anna." Scott said.
"Who's Anna?" Stiles demanded.
"Deaton's hidden daughter." Malia said, "Catch up." Kaelin pointed at Malia.
"I like you." Kaelin nodded, "I'm keeping you." Stiles looked at her annoyed. "Anna is in fact Deaton's daughter, and we have already filled her in about the supernatural. I probably will be telling her what's going on, but Deaton will probably already know since he's kind of an all knowing Jedi master."
"You invited a kid into our inner circle?" Stiles asked, tone full of disbelief.
"Now is not the time for this, Stiles." Kaelin said annoyed, "Anything could be happening to Derek right now."
"Stop steering away from the topic." Stiles said.
"Scott, I won't even go in there." Kaelin said, "I can stay in the car. I can be backup."
"Yes. You will be backup in Beacon Hills." Scott said, "You need to get all of the school things set up. You need to remake your passport."
"I-" Kaelin said.
"Kaelin, maybe you should listen to him." Lydia said, "We just got you back. You can go see Sheriff Stilinski again, and he can help you get set up so you can go to school with us again."
Kaelin sighed annoyed. She was frustrated that they were actually winning this argument. She wasn't going to admit that they were anyway.
"If anything happens to any of you." Kaelin said, "If any hunter tortures you, then damn right I am going to drive all the way into Mexico, break into whatever warehouse they have you in, and kick all their asses. And if you think that not telling me that you got hurt doesn't worry me then you're dead wrong." Malia looked at Kaelin shocked. She wasn't really sure if Kaelin could kick all their asses, but she sure wanted to see that.
