I was sitting in my room, reading Jane Eyre when the doorbell rang. I let out a sigh, as I closed my book and put it away. I went downstairs and opened the door to Stiles grinning.

"What?" I ask.

"Scott and I found something yesterday." Stiles said. "We're going to go find out what it is."

"Well, what is it?" I ask annoyed.

"'When is a door not a door?'" Stiles said.

"When it's ajar obviously." I say, "But what does that have to do with anything?"

"It's sick. Our minds are open to anything and we have to close them." Stiles said.

"What?" I ask confused and worriedly.

"Wanna come with?" Stiles asked.

"Do I even have a choice?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Nope." Stiles said, popping the p. He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to his dad's car. Scott was already sitting in the front, so Stiles and I had to get into the back.

"So, uh, where are we going?" I ask.

"We're going to the Tate home." Stiles declared.

"We're looking for Malia Tate, the missing girl." Scott added, as he started to explain what's going on. Sheriff Stilinski was driving us over to the Tate's and we were going to find out what happened to Malia Tate who could be a werewolf. Sheriff Stilinski pulled up to the house, and parked on the side of the street. The three of us got out, but Sheriff Stilinski called me over.

"So you're supernatural too?" Sheriff Stilinski asked, and I nod. "Make sure the boys don't do anything too stupid."

"I'll try." I say smiling, at his reaction. I thought he'd be more confused. Knowing Scott and Stiles, they would make a bunch of stupid decisions. Ones that I won't be able to stop. Mr. Stilinski went up to the porch and was going to use his role as Sheriff to give us time to look around. I ran over to the back yard where the two of them were waiting for me. Stiles grabbed the handle and opened the back door with a loud squeak. I threw my hands up in the air frustrated. Stiles kept pushing, and the noise became louder. Eventually after a loud amount of noise, we made it inside and shut the door.

We went into a bedroom that looked like a kid's room. Supposedly the kid Malia, disappeared after her family got into a car crash. I felt bad for her, she must have been traumatized. Her mother Evelyn, Kylie, and her got into a car crash where her mother and sister died in. They never found Malia's body though.

"All I'm getting is some animal smell." Scott whispered.

"Same." I add, nodding. We didn't smell anything else than animals.

"What kind of animal?" Stiles asked, before he walks over to a shelf, and starts going through her stuff. I heard a growl, and turned around to see a dog in the doorway.

"Great. A dog." I mumble sarcastically.

"Hi puppy." Scott mumbled, and the dog growled again.

"Get rid of it." Stiles whispered urgently.

"Me?" Scott exclaimed confused.

"Yes you." I snap, "You're the Alpha."

"Yeah, what she said. Glow your eyes at it, something, be the Alpha." Stiles added.

"I can't. I don't have control." Scott said.

"Okay, but you've got to try something." I press urgently.
