I sighed as I sat in the Sheriff's office. Lydia and Stiles had called me here, in hope of feeling me in on Lydia's dead grandmother being back from the dead. I don't know why we should be surprised. A lot of people have been coming back from the dead.

"It's not just that she could still be alive." Stiles said.

"It's that she would fake her death." Lydia added.

"Your grandmother, Lorraine Martin, faked her death?" Mr. Stilinski asked, tone full of disbelief.

"I don't know why you're so surprised." I said, "A lot of people here have come back from the dead."

"Not Aiden." Mr. Stilinski, "Not any human who was killed by the darach."

"All I'm saying is that you should listen to them." I sighed.

"I'm guessing that you guys have a story to back this up?" Mr. Stilinski asked the two of them.

"She might be helping the Benefactor." Lydia said, and I gasped.

"Or is the Benefactor." Stiles corrected. Mr. Stilinski looked at us confused.

"We figured out that the Benefactor could sense death, which means that the Benefactor has to be a banshee." I explained.

"Sounds like a story worth hearing." Mr. Stilinski said before he shut the door to his office.

"I think Parrish could help us with this." Lydia suggested. Mr. Stilinski turned to me and Stiles confused.

"He's on the dead pool." I explained shortly.

Mr. Stilinski opened the door before calling out for Parrish.

"Anybody seen Parrish?" Mr. Stilinski asked, but no one answered him. "Haigh?"

"Haven't seen him." Deputy Dick said as he looked back at Mr. Stilinski. His eyes shifted towards mine and I knew he was lying.

"Why are you lying?" I said.

"Come on, Kae." Lydia said as she tugged my hand and pulled me back inside the office to face the three of them.

Suddenly we heard shooting and we rushed out to see Parrish beating up Deputy Dick. Parrish was covered in gasoline. Mr. Stilinski got his gun out before aiming it at the two of them.

"Hey, Hey!" Mr. Stilinski called as he aimed it at them.

He would only use his gun if he had to.

I looked to see that Deputy Dick held a shotgun out and it was aimed at Mr. Stilinski.

"No!" I exclaimed as I shoved my arm as I tried to knock him to the ground to get away from the gunshots, but it was too late. Gunshots echoed inside the room and Mr. Stilinski fell to the floor in pain.

Mr. Stilinski was already shot and I was too slow. I didn't save him. I rushed over to him before calling out for Lydia and Stiles. Stiles rushed into the room and his eyes fell on his father that had a bleeding shoulder from the gunshot.

"We've got to get him to the hospital!" I exclaimed. Stiles looked down to his father worriedly. "I'll deal with Parrish!" I shoved myself up from the ground before slamming my fist into Deputy Dick's face, having him fall to the ground in pain. "That was for Mr. Stilinski." Parrish rushed over and continued to beat him to death.

"Parrish!" I hissed, but Parrish ignored me. "Parrish!"

I shoved him off of Deputy Dick and pushed him backwards into a wall.

"As much as I hate Deputy Dick over here... You can't hurt him." I said and Parrish looked at me angrily. "Don't make me fight you. I don't want to fight you." I looked at him worriedly. "I want to help you." Parrish looked at me confused before calming down.
