'Hey, Isaac! It's me again!' I said over the phone as I made my way out of the airport. 'Well, you already know it's me, but I'm just calling again... Look, I understand. I understand and I respect your decision to be with her, but, uh, could you at least contact me?' I shook my head. 'I came back from the dead and you won't even contact me? I'm in England right now and I'm visiting my brother. Please just text me or something. Anything.'
I hung up on the phone call and let out a sigh as I plastered on a fake smile.
"Are you okay?" A guy asked. I turned around to face him.
His hair was slicked back, he was wearing a leather jacket, and I couldn't deny that he was handsome. He looked about my age as well.
"Y-Yeah." I said, "I'm fine."
"You don't sound fine." The guy said unconvinced.
"It's nothing, really." I said. The guy looked at me unconvinced. His hazel eyes sparkling. "It's just a boy problem."
"A boy that can you make you act like this, doesn't deserve you." The guy said.
"I'm Kaelin." I smiled.
"Theo." The guy said as he stared at me.
"It's more complicated than him not deserving me." I said.
"It's not." Theo said, "Whoever you are in relationship with, they should always take time for you."
"Well..." I said.
"Do you love him?" Theo asked and I looked at him shocked.
"No." I said, "Not anymore."
"Then it's his fault." Theo said, "He doesn't deserve you."
"You don't even know me." I shook my head.
"I know enough." Theo said causing me to blush.
"KAELIN IS THAT YOU?" A familiar voice bellowed and I turned around to face the one and only Ethan.
I rushed into his arms and he pulled me into a tight hug and swung me around.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god." I squealed, "Ethan, I can't believe it's you. What are you doing here?"
"Jackson asked me to pick his sister up. I was a little nervous because I didn't think it would be you..." Ethan said.
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed, "You're Ethan?" Ethan nodded. "Oh my god. Jackson has better taste than me." Ethan laughed.
"I should get you to Jackson. He's been pretty worried..." Ethan said.
"Because of the whole Kate thing?" I asked smiling, "I'm fine."
"Well, he's pissed." Ethan shrugged.
"I was looking for you, you know, but no one knew where you went." I admitted.
"I had to leave." Ethan said, "You know? It just, it just felt wrong without him."
"Yeah." I said sadly, "He told me to tell you that he misses you... That he loves you... And that he wants you to be happy."
"How is he?" Ethan asked, "Is he happy?"
"Yeah." I said, "My family took him in as one of their own." I strolled back to pick up my bag as I wiped a tear from my cheek. I smirked when I walked back up to Ethan. "By the way, he told me everything, Ethan." Ethan turned pale. "Everything."
I shrugged nonchalantly.
"You want to get out of here and terrorize my adoptive parents?" I asked him.
