We knew that we would have to go against him. The nogitsune, I just couldn't face with the possibility that it could be my best friend. That it could be Stiles. I flinched, feeling a sort of electricity run through me. Isaac. We heard a commotion down in the parking lot, so we rushed down there. When we got there everyone had fallen into the water. Kira caught some sort of cord and put her hand over the end of it. The lights blinked off, as her eyes glowed orange. Everyone started screaming, and I looked around for Isaac. I found him unconscious in the water. Tears rolled down my face, as I saw my mate collapsed in the water.
"Come on Isaac!" I exclaim, "Zac! You've got to wake up!"
It had been two days since and Isaac hasn't woke up yet. I haven't been able to visit him. None of us have. Only family would be allowed to visit him. The sight of his body unconscious in the water, his energy just out of him haunted me. I could have helped, but I was with Derek and Scott. Melissa walked over to me holding up a keycard.
"I have a keycard." Melissa said softly. I got up and followed her, she swiped the card that opened Isaac's room. I gave her a soft smile and a quiet thank you. "You have a few minutes." She left me alone momentarily, and I walked over and took his hand in mine hoping that I could take some of his pain even if he wasn't in any pain.
"Hey, Zac." I say, wiping away tears from my face, "I don't know if you're going to wake up or not. I-I don't know what to do. Usually I'm the one who always gives the advice or knows what to do, but now I have no idea. I don't think that I can lose anyone else. I know that sounds selfish, but you mean so much to me..." Melissa opened the door, and I let out a sigh as I reluctantly let go of his hand. I looked at him one last time, before turning around and leaving.

I walked into the school, feeling worse than usual. Probably because my mate is in a coma right now, but that wouldn't really be a good excuse for them to let me stay with him in the hospital. I walked down the hallway, annoyed with all the eyes set on me. I walked over to where Scott was, Allison and Lydia were nowhere to be seen and I needed to talk to someone.
"How is he?" Scott asked.
"Honestly, I don't know." I say, "I thought since I'm his mate that I would be able to feel when he was going to wake up or something. I know it's stupid."
"No, it's not. Not at all." Scott said as he shook his head, "Um, my mom texted me. She uh told me about what you said to him."
"Wow you McCalls really like to eavesdrop don't you?" I say annoyed.
"It's better to express your feelings then to keep them cooped up." Scott said.
"Kaelin." Scott started.
"Scott, don't worry about it. I'm fine." I lie, "I'm absolutely fine."
"Are you sure?" Scott asked.
"Absolutely." I lie again.
"How are you about Isaac?" Scott asked again.
"I don't know. We did go talk to Deaton." I say.
"About what?" Scott asked.
"Uh. Our mating bond." I shrug, and the two of us started walking to our classes.
"What'd he say?" Scott asked.
"Well, technically... He just said to give into the bond." I inform him.
"What does that even mean?" Scott asked confused.
"I have no idea." I shrug, I stopped walking suddenly when I heard something. "Do you hear that?"
