"Chasing two feral werewolves in the woods at 10 p.m. Our life just gets more normal." Kaelin said while Derek and she were following the tracks that Cora had left behind.
Her phone rang, she didn't bother to look at who it was, assuming it was Scott since who else would be calling her at 10 p.m. She put the phone on speaker, hoping that Scott and Stiles would have something to share with the group.
"Tell us you found him," Kaelin told him.
'Actually, I lost him.' Scott told us.
"You lost him?" Derek asked him in an annoyed and disbelieving tone.
'Yeah, I kind of had to.' Scott sighed.
"Wasn't exactly the plan." Derek snapped while Kaelin sighed at the situation they were stuck in.
'I know, which is why I think we should stick together. Trust me, he's too strong, too fast, and way too angry for one person to handle. We've got to do this together.' Scott told them.
"Fine. We're at the trails by the entrance to the preserve. Can you meet us here?" Derek said annoyed.
'Yeah, just got to take care of something else first.' Scott said before he ended the phone call abruptly. He appeared here ten minutes later, and they started to hatch a plan. They continued to run deeper into the woods, hoping to find their tracks. The group stopped as Derek found footprints in the mud.
"Is it them?" Kaelin asked Derek, who stared down at the footprints left behind.
"We're not the only ones who decided to stick together," Derek informed us.
"Great. Is this going to make it easier to catch them?" Kaelin replied back.
"I don't know," Derek said, and Kaelin looked up to see his worried face. Sometimes he could hide his expression, his feelings with his brooding or his angry face. But, it wasn't the time for it now, he was worried for Cora and Boyd, and there wasn't anything he could do about it.
"Derek... I saw Boyd try to rip two little kids apart," Scott said, "I got there barely in time to stop him. Are they going to do that to everyone they find?"
"Everyone and anyone." Derek declared. A piercing scream filled the air, and they rushed to see where it came from. They came upon a campsite in the middle of the clearing, where Isaac was protecting the victim who was hiding in her tent. Isaac was thrown into the trunk of the tree harshly. Kaelin rushed over to help him while Derek and Scott dealt with the rogue werewolves.
"Are you okay?" Kaelin asked him worriedly, as she helped him up.
"Good as I'll ever be." He told her.
"I see you've joined the hunting party," Kaelin replied.
"Didn't have much of a choice." Isaac explained, "There are rogue werewolves running around and you guys need my help. So much for my night off! Look out!" Kaelin turned around swiftly to Cora who was trying to attack them, Kaelin kicked her in the stomach causing her to step back and snarl. Derek, Isaac, and Kaelin raced after her when she started running. They lost her in the woods since she was full of blood lust on the full moon and wanted more than anything to get away from the people who were trying to stop her. Scott had stayed behind to check on the woman. Scott quickly caught up to them, but he was on the phone with someone.
"Are you sure?" Scott asked worriedly.
'Yep.' Stiles replied, 'Throat ripped out, blood everywhere. It's like the frickin' Shining over here. Two little twin girls come out of the woods and start asking me to play with them forever and ever I won't be surprised.'
