"Are you okay?" Olivia asked me.

"Define 'okay,'" I said. "Physically or mentally because I can tell you that I feel physically drained and I am mentally exhausted."

"Okay, you seem to be fine," she concluded.

"The deer and now this, Liv," I began. "Stiles thinks something's gonna happen. So, uh, be prepared."

"Thanks for the warning, but after reading all those books, I think I got it down," Liv told me, semi-confident.

"Lucy," Stiles called. "We gotta go."

"Where?" Olivia asked, looking at him.

"Yeah, we gotta go," Stiles repeated, pushing me out. "See you, Ms. Thompson. I'll bring her home."

"Stiles - Where are we going?" I asked.

"Derek's," he answered. "And no, I have no idea why but Scott said to meet there and he wanted me to bring you."

On my way, I opened Alex's locker and put the car keys on his hook. In the car, I texted him that I left him the car. We drove up to the Hale house and walked in.

"Scott," I greeted. "What did you need?"

"Some of your magic," Derek answered, arms crossed as he leaned against the wall.

"Gonna be a bit more specific," I told him as I followed.

Stiles and Scott stayed back, Stiles having to catch Scott up on what happened at school with the birds.

Derek brought me into another room. On the table, Issac laid there in those grungy hospital blankets. Derek folded the blanket back to his waist, showing his bare body.

"I don't want to, uh, state the obvious, but there's nothing there," I told him.

"Not on the surface, no, but on the inside," Derek explained.

"What happened?" I asked after seeing how grave his expression was.

"He was attacked... " he answered. "By an Alpha."

"By you?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why did you attack him? You know what? Don't tell me. You probably knocked him up since he got on your nerves or something."

Derek sighed. "You were training right?"

"Yeah, on Deaton's ill animals," I responded. "Humans are... difficult to heal. Especially from an injury from an Alpha."

"Can you at least try?" he asked, tired of me arguing.

"Okay, okay," I said. "Where was the wound?"

"His right rib," he answered, pointing.

I walked around the table and stretched my fingers and hands. I put my hand onto where the wound had been. I closed my eyes, but I could feel Derek staring at me.

"Okay, I can't do it with you watching me," I told him. He didn't move. "Scott! Stiles! Come drag Derek's ass out of the room so I can heal Issac!"

They came in, taking him away. He just stared at me until he walked behind the wall. "Thank you," I muttered. I took a deep breath and placed my hand on his rib.

I closed my eyes and I could feel the insides slowly beginning to mend together. Once I believed I had healed him completely, I pulled back. I waited a moment, then Issac turned his head.

"Oh, God." I let out a breath. "I did it."

I looked at his hand and reached out, but hesitated. What the hell am I doing? I grabbed a wooden stool and sat on it. I held his hand while also reading the homework that was due on Friday.
