"I'm not the only one who heard that, am I?" Lydia questioned, scared.
"It sounds like someone turned the handsaw on," Allison said.
"Handsaw?!"
"I need bobby pins," I told them.
Lydia gave me two and I started to pick the lock open. I heard a click and pushed the door wide open. Ethan stood there, the saw near his stomach.
"Hey, no! Ethan, don't!" Stiles exclaimed.
Stiles ran at him and wrestled to get the weapon out of his hand. It fell and so did Stiles, almost landing headfirst onto it. But then it stopped once Lydia pulled the plug.
And then, Ethan's claws protruded from his fingers and he tried to scratch his body. I grabbed one of his arms as Stiles grabbed the other. He had tripped and fell into a heat lamp.
"What just happened?" he asked, standing.
"Ethan- "
"Didn't you hear what I just said?" We followed Ethan down the stairs. "I don't know how I got there or what I was doing."
"Okay, you could be a little more helpful, you know?" Stiles told him. "We did just save your life."
"And you probably shouldn't have," he said and left.
"What now?"
"I'll find Scott," Allison told us. "You guys grab Isaac and Boyd. The best thing we can do is get them out of this place."
I walked into Issac and Boyd's room, however, I didn't see anyone on the beds. I searched the room and entered the bathroom. Boyd was in the tub filled with water. He was trying to drown himself. I tried unplugging the drain, but I couldn't. I tried lifting the heavy thing off of him, but it was too heavy.
"Lucy! Hey, hey."
"He blocked it," I said, backing away. "He blocked the drain with something, I - I can't get to it."
"Here, help me."
"I tried... it's too heavy," I told him as he failed to lift it.
"How long can a werewolf stay underwater?" Lydia asked.
"You think I know that?" Stiles questioned. "Ow!" He had burned himself. "Wait a sec, the heater. Ethan came out of it when he touched the heater."
"It's heat - heat, fire... Heat does it, all right? We need something... We need fire."
"He's underwater," I reminded.
"Yeah, I'm aware of that," he said irritably.
"The bus!" Lydia exclaimed. "On the bus, they'll have emergency road flares. They have their own oxidizers. They can burn underwater."
"Are you serious?"
"Yes! Go!" Lydia exclaimed impatiently. We didn't have time to spare.
I sighed and tried again. I tried pulling the large, heavy object, but I still couldn't. I even tried using Thorn as a lever, but couldn't. I was getting frustrated the more I thought about his death.
"Lucy!" Lydia called. I ran to her. "I found Issac under there."
I laid on the ground and lifted the covers. Issac looked at me and I looked back at him sadly. He was frightened, old memories coming back to him.
"Issac, it's all right... " I reached my hand out to him. He backed away, but I kept going and I reached his shoulder. He stilled. I grabbed his hand, guiding him out from under the bed.
