"Come on," I said hurriedly. "Is it wearing off?"

"Sort of," he said, leaning off the sink. "You're bleeding."

"I'll heal," I replied. I turned around to leave, but then I stopped.

"Something's happening," Issac stated.

"I know. I feel it," I responded.

I went my fastest towards the field. It was dark. People were screaming, running in different directions. We were getting tossed around as we tried to make it through the people. It was like Black Friday at the mall.

The lights went back on. In the middle of the field, people surrounded a body on the field.

"Oh, God, Alex... "

I limped at full throttle to them and pushed my way through. There were so many scenarios that I thought of. Jackson killed Alex. Alex couldn't heal himself of an injury that bad. Alex was laying on the grass, (ironically) the sky and the lacrosse players the last thing he'd see.

But when I got there, Alex wasn't the one on the ground. Nor was it Stiles. I looked around at the lacrosse players. Coach was hovering over the fallen player.

"Lucy!" I turned around, my eyes widening. I jumped into Alex's arms. "You can't be here right now. You can't- "

"What's happening!" I heard Lydia scream. "Jackson! What's happening?"

"Can we get a medic over here!" Olivia called, approaching.

I kneeled beside Jackson and Ms. McCall ran over as well. I put my hand on his, then immediately pulled away. There was hardly any life left in him. His body grew colder and he became less stiff.

"He's not breathing," she informed. "No pulse."

I stood up, backing away. Ms. McCall lifted his jersey and blood stained his shirt. I turned away from him and towards the person who was behind me.

"Can you heal him?" I heard Scott ask.

"I - I can't heal someone who's - who's dead."

"Look," Scott said. Jackson's fingertips were bloody.

"He did it to himself?" Issac questioned.

"Get down here and hold his head," Ms. McCall demanded of Lydia. "Tilt it up."

"Tell her to listen to your heartbeat," I heard Alex say.

"Uh, Lucy... listen to my heartbeat," said Issac. "Focus on my heartbeat."

"We got to meet with the medical examiner and try to figure out what happened with Jackson," Stilinski said. "I've got an APB out on Stiles. His jeep is still in the parking lot so that means... " he trailed off. "Well, I don't know what that means. Look, if he answers his phone, if he answers his emails, if either one of you see him... "

"We'll call you," Issac assured.

"Look, he's probably just freaking out from all the attention or something," Alex said. "We'll find him."

"Yeah... I'll see you," Stilinski said and walked off.

"Scott's mom got it out, right?" Issac asked me.

I nodded, looking down at my wound. "Just needs to heal now."

Coach was about to walk away but came back. "I mean, I know I yell a lot, but it's not like I hate you guys. Well, I kind of hate Greenberg and Quinn, but you know, that's different. It's Greenberg and Quinn cheated on a girl which is like, a no in my code. I'm just saying we... I need you on the team. Get your grades back up."
