Y/N's POV
Kuon, Shidou, and Barou offered to stay behind to guard the second base as the rest of us headed back out once again to get supplies from Isagi's house.
Everyone was negatively affected by what we witnessed yesterday, I could tell. The mood had darkened deeply, creating an eerily depressing atmosphere. The boys sat in silence as they wore an expression that was unreadable.
I removed myself from the main room and walked around the house, exploring its contents. I ended up finding a storage room, similar to where I found skateboards a few days ago. In this room, my eyes spotted a soccer ball.
"Hey boys, wanna play soccer?" I asked, holding up the ball as I peeped back into the main room. They seemed to look at me for a second before questioning where I found it and talking over each other, a somewhat heated argument starting.
I was so confused as they fought, and out of reflex, I opened the window I stood next to, and threw the ball outside into the grass yard. The boys ran outside after it as I raised my brow in confusion at their behavior.
"Nagi, Gagamaru, Rin, Kunigami, and I will be one team," Bachira announced.
"Then Aryuu, Raichi, Isagi, Reo and I will be the opposing team," Chigiri replied.
I sat on the side with the others who weren't participating as I watched the match begin. It turns out that all of these boys played football, or had some sort of experience with the sport. The game ended and Bachira's team won.
"Good game!"
I handed out some food to the winning team's players one by one as I praised their win. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Isagi pouting. I laughed as I made my way over to the other players, also praising them and giving them treats. It seemed Isagi really liked being praised and receiving cookies, as he lit up like a dog that hadn't seen food in days.
Making my way to the cabinet to get some more food for the sweaty and exhausted boys, I saw Kunigami scavenging for food.
"I'm looking for a snack," he said, noticing me.
"There's a bunch of cereal -"
"I don't like cereal."
"For real?!" Kunigami doesn't like cereal?!
"Someone tell me a story ~" I heard Bachira whine. He was eating some canned pineapple. Leaving the orange haired, I went to go back to the main room, sitting down on the floor in boredom.
"The first person to confess to me was my elementary school teacher," Reo said out of the blue. When I tell you Bachira almost choked on his pineapple... I'm not lying.
"BAHAHAHAHA WHAT," Shidou fell to the floor, laughing hard, holding his stomach.
"I vividly remember her asking me to stay after class for some reason, and then she confessed to me. She was pretty, but too old for my liking."
Shidou, Bachira, and Raichi were absolutely dying and cracking up.
"Please don't kill your lungs," Nagi said calmly. "You're too young to die."
