"Thank you for stopping by."  I climbed out of the car and turned around.

"No problem.  Meet you again later?"  Connor winked.

"Of course."  I nodded.  "Bye bye!"

"Hey Angel, I don't have your number yet!"  He shouted in panic.

"Hahaha...  Easy boy."  I took my phone.  "Type down."

I stared at him as he set his number on my phone then called himself so that he can save mine too.  I chuckled inside my head.  How can I end up being friends with this guy, this celebrity guy?  Like is this wrong or not.

"Done."  Connor gave my phone back.

"Thank you."  I waved him.

"See you around!"

"See you around."  I whispered.  Still thinking this is wrong.

I slowly walked up to my house and threw myself on the living room couch.  Felt so tired.  My heartbeats gone crazy, both because of thyroid and Connor.  Dang it.  I'm 20.  It should be normal, right?  He's a legit good-looking guy, and really nice too.  But considering that I even will lose my sight probably like tomorrow morning, how could I survive?

"Girl, how did you come home?"  Dad suddenly showed up from the kitchen.

"Oh shoot Daddy you shocked me!"  I held my chest.

"Sorry sorry!"  He rushed to get me some water.  Doctor told me not to be in rush or be shocked too much.  My heartbeats are already too fast even without those kind of things.

"By bus."  I answered his question.

"Really."  He glared.  "Who's the guy?"

"Gosh, I knew it."  I sighed.  "Just a new friend."

"New cool good-looking friend?"  Dad put the glass back.

"Actually Dad, how are you coming home this early?"  I changed the topic.

"They don't need me that much today.  And I think I will pick up Mom later.  Enjoying lazy day before tomorrow."  He sit by my side.  "Angel, is he a good guy?"

"Are we seriously still talking about that?"  I rolled my eyes.  "He is, Dad."

"Just wanna make sure.  I don't want any guys to break my little angel's heart."  He stroked my hair.

"Which one is your bigger concern.  Broken heart, or losing my sight?"  I asked in a serious tone.

"Baby...we have talked, we're not doing this discussion.  It's still too far."  Dad exclaimed.

"Yeah?  But Doctor Jared told me the possibility grows bigger everyday."  I chuckled.  "You both have been hiding this from me since we're back in Spain.  I need to know Dad, I'm 20.  Stop telling I'm alright."

"You are alright..."  He murmured.

"But my body says otherwise."  I stood up.  "What did they say?"

Dad stuttered, swallowing his own words.  You know.  You might not see this too often yet, but I've kept asking the same question all over again when my previous doctor in Spain raised up the issue.  After 2 years, they usually would suggest a surgery but that might cause me losing my voice.  Or, the second one, it's the radioactive therapy but they said it needs more elaboration.  Or third, even before the further check, I might lose my sight at anytime.  Everybody does things very slowly, and secretly.  Jeez, I'm 20 for Pete's sake.  But apparently nobody gives a dang concern about it.  Now I'm living in a prediction of my own, really scare to close my eyes, that I would never see the lights anymore tomorrow.

"There is still chance, honey."  Dad hugged me.

"Really."  I looked away.  "I'm sorry.  I should've not asked."

"No...no, it's not like that.  We will find out.  I'll try to call Doctor Jared for next meeting.  We will make it clear."  He nodded.

"Okay."  I smiled bitterly.  "I just want to have a normal life again, Dad.  Knowing I have fear of nothing."

"I know.  I understand."  He smiled.  "Your Mom and I will always be here.  And of course you still can have a normal life.  You have forever to fall in love with a guy, even."

I just smiled and walked upstairs.  I know my parents are really helping, wanting me to get better.  At the age of 20, you should've worked properly and earned some dollars.  Bottom line is, I'm tired of being the excluded.

Hey girl.  Did I bother you?

I checked my phone and wait...  Oh, this Connor guy messed up with me.  Haha.  For one more time, he made everything a bit better.  Dork.  Who asked you to save your contact with that name.

To: Connie♥
Oh well done you celebrity.  How rude.  Haha.
No not really.  What you doing?

Sent.  I opened my journal again and started writing.  For the time being, this journal has been my only companion.  I wrote everything in there, from poems to stories.  It's now amazing that I also have Connor on my phone.

What?  Isn't Connie lovely?
I'm bored.  My brothers were playing ZigZag all the time and they left me behind. Haha.  I wish I could talk to you longer :)x

I laughed at his text.  I might be in trouble tomorrow but I'm happy he's talking with me.  After all this time, feels good to feel important to somebody else.

Poor Connie.  Try to find something else to do though.  Tweet your fans or something :)

And in the mean time I was waiting for his reply, this pen kept writing the journal.  I got my inspiration today.  So good.

But I want to talk to you :(

To: Connie♥
Why so childish?  Haha.  Me too Con :)

And the rest of day, we kept our conversation going.  For some people, talking to him is something more likely an achievement.  I know that.  I am also a fan of some bands.  But since thyoid attacked me, I felt the necessity of talking to other people is like the hope to live.  Knowing someone cares enough to check on you.  I kept saying this, I know.  I tried to hold myself back but our conversation was too good to denied.  Now it eats my nerves.  What if I lose my sight?
