"Hey beautiful."

Connor kissed my cheek as he wrapped his hand on my hip.  It's afternoon.  And Mom has done dressing me up.  Anything, I hope I'm looking good.

"Hey."  I kissed his cheek back because he got closer to me.

"Ready to go?  Any purse or phone?"

"Yeah, it's with Mom."  I started to stand up.

"No no no.  Let me help you."

He soon gently helped me to walk.  I don't want to use any kind of tools to help.  I can do it by myself.  At least when I got here, I know where the door is, and the bathroom is, some other stuff being placed, I still remember it clearly.  So when I walk like this, I only rely to the person who's helping me, or I'll just hanging onto the wall.

"Careful, careful with your head."  We climbed up into the car.

"Okay."  I sit perfectly.

"Seatbelt..."  Connor set it up for me.  "Done."

"Thank you."

"No problem baby."

He drove me out of the hospital as Mom was waving us bye from the lobby.  I told Mom to just go to work if she can, and if her boss wanted her to, because I'll be going out with Connor all day long this afternoon, obviously til evening.  He'll drive me back and stuff, so she doesn't have to worry about that.

"Are we going..."  I cleared my throat.  "To the sunset?"

"Pretty much."  He whistled.  "But something else different today."

"Hmm?  What is it?"

"You look so so beautiful."  Connor held my hand as he kept driving.

"Oh please, I'm looking plain normal.  I'm not even sure the color of my dress right now."

"It's navy blue.  My favorite."  He chuckled.  "I like it when you wear blue."

"Great.  So Mom didn't pick the wrong dress."  I laughed.

"No, Angel, you look perfect."   Connor kissed the top of my hand.

"Why so sweet though..."  I rolled my eyes, if that's even possible.  Yeah I lost my sight but I still can open my eyes clearly like everybody else.  The difference is I can't see anything.  It's not the same with the ones who have their eyes closed.

"Because...  Hold on.  We're here."

He stopped the engine.  Long story short, after all struggles and stuff, he helped me to walk further the wood.  But I can feel this pathway that we usually took, was no longer that full of trees.  Probably Connor has cleaned the path to make me easier to walk.  Because usually, you have to be very careful while walking unless you'd fall off to the ground.

"Okay.  Let's sit in here."  Connor sat me down on a lap, I guess.

"Uhm...I don't remember we have any place to sit in here.  We usually just stood up..."

"I don't want you to get tired."  He covered me with something, like a blanket.  It's pretty cold right here.

"Thank you baby."  I whispered.

"And...this is for you."  Connor gave a cup of...oh of course, Starbucks, to me.

"Dark chocolate."  I nodded.

"Just how you like your non-coffee drink like."  He wrapped my waist.

We both escaped to our own thoughts and daydreams.  I couldn't see anything but I let Connor to enjoy his everyday moment.  No matter how dark it was for me, it's still shiny bright for him.  So I gave the moment.  Instead, I played with his fingers on my lap, just trying not to be sleepy in this silence.  Ha.
