A/N I'm doing a boy again finally. Um. I don't know what else to say. So........yeah.

The "king" of Goode High, also known as Darik Marsin, hates me. He always has. I don't why. My friend Percy thinks it's because he's jealous of me. Coincidentally, Percy also says I remind him of his girlfriend, which is more to the point of this story then Darik Marsin is. Except he's still kind of important. I'm getting off track.

It was Friday, which meant everybody at school was super excited for the weekend and not paying attention in class. Which is most people every day, if I'm being honest. It's usually just the nerds (*cough* me *cough*) who actually paid attention. And sometimes (rarely) Percy. Something his girlfriend drilled into him, I guess. He wasn't paying attention today though. He'd told me that his girlfriend was visiting today, which was presumably the reason for his distracted state of mind.

Anyways, the last class of day was the only one Percy and I had together, Language Arts. I like the subject alright, but the teacher, Ms. Bridge, is a total nightmare! She doesn't let us do any hands on work, so to speak, it's all note taking and textbook reading and tests, it's horrible! When the bell rang, practically everyone in the class sprung out of their seats like tightly wound springs. Percy and I hurried to our lockers, which were right beside each other, to grab our stuff and get out into the fresh air.

As we were walking out, Percy asked if I wanted to meet his girlfriend. Obviously, I said yes - he was constantly talking about her, and this was my chance to finally meet her in person! We headed out to the parking lot, where everybody was speculating about the unfamiliar car - a grey Maserati with sea green accents. Percy lit up at the sight of the car. I leaned over and nudged him with my elbow. "Is that Annabeth's?" I questioned.

He nodded eagerly before beginning to push his way through the mass of people towards the Maserati. The drivers side door opened and a girl with long honey blond curls that cascaded down her back and piercing grey eyes that scanned the crowd stepped out. Eventually, Percy managed to find his way to the front of the people, and the girls gaze landed on him, her face lighting up with a smile that warmed her entire demeanor. They rushed toward each other, meeting in a passionate embrace. "And that would be Annabeth," I muttered under my breath as I watched the kissing couple, before moving toward them, following Percy's path through the crowd.

They had broken apart and were animatedly talking by the time I reached them. When I came up to stand beside Percy, he turned to me and introduced me. "Annabeth, this is Liam, Liam, this is Annabeth."

She held out her hand for me to shake, and we exchanged pleasantries, and then started talking about pretty much anything and everything under the sun. I heard how Percabeth - after seeing them together, I couldn't find it me to not call them that - had first met, at the camp that Percy was always going on about.

It was only when a rude, clearly self-entitled voice interrupted our conversation that we remembered we were standing in a parking lot in front of a huge crowd of people. We turned toward the voice. Ugh. Darik Marsin. He spoke to Percy and I first. "What are you two losers doing talking to this chick. Get lost," He sidled closer to Annabeth, and his voice got noticeably deeper. "Now babe, what do you say we take this elsewhere. How 'bout my bedroom."

The three of us all had different reactions to that. Percy was understandably out raged, Annabeth was clearly disgusted, and I was annoyed and angry that Darik just had to come by and ruin another day for me. Percy looked like he wanted to send Darik to the hospital there and then, but I guess this kind of thing had happened before, because there was clearly and understanding between him and Annabeth, who stepped closer to Darik. "Excuse me? You've either noticed that Percy and I are dating, or your a complete idiot, and either way, I am thoroughly disgusted by your implications! I would never date someone like you. Now, if you don't mind, Percy and I have somewhere to be."

She turned around, and was walking toward Percy and I, when Darik's hand shot out and he grabbed her arm, obviously angry that anyone would ever dare speak to him like that. "Actually I do mind. You're coming home with me."

Before, Annabeth had barely restrained herself, but now, it was clear that she wasn't even going to try. She slapped him, and he let go of her arm in shock. "I'm sorry, I should have made myself clear.  Whether or not you mind, I'm leaving, you disgusting pervert. I would usually say have a good day, but for you, I'd rather the opposite."

She and Percy both shot him a glare, and then they headed over to Annabeth's car, Percy shooting me a parting wave.

I couldn't resist shooting a smug look at the red hand print on Darik's dumbstruck face, before I left the parking lot myself.

A/N That was kind of short, sorry y'all. So, I was wondering, I know the title says Mortals Meet Percabeth, but I was wondering about doing some chapters for other ships every now and then. It would still be mainly Percabeth, just with some other ships sprinkled in every now and then. Let me know what you think. Later Human Beans!
