A/N Hello, my Human Beans! This one is a little bit different. It takes place during the months after Jason, Piper, and Leo's quest, and before the Argo II was ready, at Camp Half-Blood. Carson is a demigod. Thanks to Spectrier14 for the plot idea.

It was after campfire, and let me tell you, I had not had a good time. One of the kids here at Camp Half-Blood, Leo from the Hephaestus Cabin, had had the not-so-brilliant idea to start a marsh mellow fight after the singalong, when we were roasting s'mores. It was terrible! It totally ruined my look. And don't even get me started on singalongs in general! I mean, what if somebody doesn't like my voice? I'm obviously the best person, like, ever, and if some idiot started hating on my voice, it would totally destroy my image.

I've only been at camp for a couple of days, and I'm already the most popular person here. (A/N *rolls eyes*) I'm currently in the Hermes Cabin, but it won't be long before I'm claimed, I know. After all, I'm amazing! Who wouldn't want to claim me? And I'll definitely be a son of one of the bigger gods. I've already made a start on the girls here. I got to say, some of them are hot. (A/N FYI Carson, most girls don't like to be called a temperature. Ugh, I hate him already) I'm dating a chick named Karla, from the Aphrodite Cabin, and this morning I also kissed another girl. I don't remember her name, but it doesn't matter. For my next conquest, I have my eye on a girl named Annabeth. She's and Athena kid, but I don't care about that, the only thing that matters is that she's pretty - which she is.

In my time here, I've heard quite a bit about a guy named Percy Jackson, who is apparently a son of Poseidon. According to what people have told me, he and this other guy, Jason were swapped by Hera, which means Percy, who is currently missing, is in the Roman camp, Camp Jupiter. Percy and Annabeth were dating, and evidently, she's somewhat distraught over the disappearance of her boyfriend. The Hepheastus kids are building a flying ship to get Percy and save the world or whatever, but it will take months, and Annabeth won't want to be with Percy anymore. It's already been about a month since he disappeared, so I'm ready to make my move.

Tomorrow is Friday, and we're going to play Capture the Flag. My plan has five steps:
One: I lead my team to victory in Capture the Flag.
Two: I get claimed by a powerful god as I'm holding the flag that we just won.
Three: I go up to Annabeth, who will be on my team, talk about we would be perfect together, and kiss her.
Four: She kisses back, and we walk away, leaving everybody aw-ing over out cuteness.
Five: I date her for a week, and then dump her and move on.
It's a foolproof plan!

Anyways, I have to go start primping for the game. I need to look my best, and there's only, like, 18 hours until we play! That's barely enough time.

We all gathered around Chiron, who was about to announce who would be on which team and all that. The Athena Cabin ran out with their banner/flag thingy - they were leading the blue team from what I had heard. The flag was grey, and it had a detailed painting of an owl above an olive tree. Afterwards, the Demeter Cabin, who were leading the red team, ran out with their flag, which was an earthy green colour, with a painting of a sheaf of grain crossed with a silver scythe. (A/N I made up the flag for Demeter, don't judge) Honestly, I didn't really expect the Demeter Cabin to be leading a team at all. I mean, they're just a bunch of plant obsessed weaklings. (A/N Carson's thoughts, not mine) I zoned out for the rest of Chiron's announcement, not paying attention to which cabins were on which team. I could just follow my temporary cabin-mates, the Hermes kids, so I didn't need to pay attention.

As we started putting on our armour for the game, I looked around. It was a pretty nice night for technically being winter. Chiron, or whoever controlled the borders had let just a little bit of snow in, which gave the scenery a sort of frosted effect. I was ready to plan into action. I tugged on my armour. Annabeth would so impressed that I had gotten it on the right way my first time. I heard that before Jason and Piper and Leo went on their stupid little quest, Annabeth had wasted all her time searching for that Percy kid. Now that she already knew where he was, she was around camp more, which was good for me, as it meant there was more time for me to impress her with my manly looks.

Karla, from the Aphrodite Cabin came up to me, and I realized I'd forgotten to break up with her. Ah, well, I'll do it now. "Hey Karla. Just wanted to let you know, I'm breaking up with you. You're cute and all, but it's not really my style to stay with girls. If it makes it easier, I was already kissing another girl earlier."

She froze and stared at me, tears welling up in her eyes. When she finally got up the courage to speak, her tone made it clear that she was angry and disgusted with me. Not like her thoughts matter in anything though. "Of course it's not your style, I should have known. Piper warned me about you when you got here, she said you were the kind of person who would date a girl and dump her after a week. And no, you βλάκας (A/N Idiot) it doesn't make me feel better that you were kissing somebody else. You know what? You're a jerk, Carson Prism. You're a fool and a womanizer, and I can't believe I was ever stupid enough to date you." She leaned closer for a moment, her fury evident in her eyes and stance. "And by the way, Carson" - she spat out my name like it caused a horrid taste to fill her mouth - "You're armour is on wrong." With that, she stormed away, Capture the Flag forgotten.

"Bye, babe!" I call after her. She had the audacity to not reply, and instead didn't look back at me, walking toward her cabin with a gesture relying heavily on her middle finger. Well that was rude. Whatever, she's just a stupid woman, it doesn't matter. (A/N Gods, I want to kill him)

But what did she mean by saying my armour is on wrong? It's obviously right. And to think she called me a fool! Just then, Annabeth walked in my direction. Now was my chance to impress her! "Hey, Annabeth! What's up?" I call.

She turns me, her grey eyes cold and stormy, although that's obviously because she doesn't realize it's me talking to her. "What is it Carson?"

"Just wondering if you could check my armour. I mean, I know it's on right, but it's my first time, so it doesn't hurt to have you check." I add in a wink after I speak. Now she'll see that I'm so amazing I got it right the first time.

Annabeth raises her eyebrows at me. "Really, Carson. I find it interesting how you know it's on right when I can see from here that it is entirely wrong."

I gape at her, and after a moment she comes over and readjusts basically every piece of armour on my body. Then, goes over to the pile of armour set out for us and grabs two more pieces of armour, comes back, and places them on my body. What in Olympus! I don't even know what the new pieces are called! Annabeth turns and walks away without saying another word. Whatever. She'll still fall for my amazing looks. Camp Half-Blood better get ready for my total hotness and skills, or they're not going to know what hit them.

A/N No, it's not done. There will be a part two, the next chapter to come out. I was going to do it all this time, but I'm dead tired, and I wanted to post, and there's still a lot left to go (like, at least another thousand words). So anyways, here's part one, Human Beans. Do you hate Carson yet? Because let me tell you, I sure do.
