Song: 'Butterflies' By Kacey Musgraves

........

"Now you're liftin' me up, 'stead of holdin' me down
Stealin' my heart, 'stead of stealin' my crown
Untangled all the strings, round my wings, that were tied"

You couldn't recall how you got to this place in your life, with this man. You had been through so much turmoil in the past when it came to relationships but not this time. You knew you were with the man you'd be with forever. The way he loved you was surreal and the only kind of love you'd find in a Nicholas Sparks novel. You honestly didn't believe it was real to have love like this, only had read it in the fictional romance novels. Here you were though, currently being secretly guided into a unknown environment. You had a blindfold on as he guided you from behind, making sure to tell you when to watch your step. Then with one final step forward, he whispered softly in your ear "Ok."

As you took that as a sign, you proceeded to slowly take off the black silk tie he had used to cover your eyes. You stood there astonished by what was in front of you, trying to take it all in. He had set up his terrace that overlooked LAs skyline in a dozen twinkling lights that wrapped around the whole open space. Candles lit, and as you smelled them you took in your favorite scent, vanilla. A single table with a subtle white tablecloth to cover it, sat in front of the fire pit that was lit as well. The table at a safe enough distant from the fire to not get smoke in your eyes. In the middle of the table was a slender vase with a single red rose in it. Your breath hitched in the back of the throat as the bottom of your eyes brimmed with happy tears. "You did this all for me?"

Mac smiled from ear to ear at the reaction he had hoped for, and obviously relieved. As he rounded the corner he made sure to be facing you, as he took your hands in his. "Y/n I love you, and I wanted our 1 year anniversary to be special. You deserve the best life has to offer and I feel lucky enough to get to be part of it. I wanted to show you how much you mean to me and just how special you really are." He smiled widely, showing off his one dimple, and the way he looked at you could still make you weak in the knees, even a year later.

"Mac. This. You. Is all perfect. I still can't believe I get to have you all to myself." You whispered softly, choking on the tears that were escaping your eyes. You reached up on your tippy toes, to wrap your arms around his neck. You pressed your lips against his, quickly earning a response from him as he began to kiss you back. You stood there kissing him for what felt like hours, as the butterflies took over in your stomach.

When you guys finally pulled away you smiled up at him "So what's for dinner? I'm starving." You giggled as Mac took your hand in his. He led you to the table, and pulled out your chair for you. As you sat down he answered your question "Chicken Alfredo, I know it's one of your favorites." Mac saw your face change as you heard the potential idea that Mac had tried to cook. So Mac just laughed out loud at the face you made and shook his head, taking a seat as well "Don't worry babe, Bozer cooked." A sigh of relief took over as you laughed at Macs pretend offended face. You loved your man but when he tried to cook, well let's just say you should have a fire extinguisher on stand by. Give this man the smallest things and he could build anything but expect him to do as little as boil water and your in for a doomsday catastrophe.

"I didn't know him and I didn't know me
Cloud nine, was always out of reach
Now I remember what it feels like to fly
You give me butterflies"

As the both of you finished your delicious meal that Bozer had made you were both laying in eachothers arms, on the mattress he had pulled out there for you two. Covering it in various blankets and pillows, so you could look at the stars. He knew how much you loved to do that. You let out a content sigh as you looked at the stars "I love you, you make me so happy." You whispered softly, not looking away from the natural lights in the sky. Mac squeezed you gently in his arms, kissing the top of your head "Making you happy is all I want to do, I love you too my love."

You sat up just a little, as you turned to to face him, your laid on your side as your elbow propped you up. So you could be hovering over top of him to look down into this blue eyes you loved so much. "Dinner was amazing. Make sure I give my compliments to the chef, I am a little disappointed though." You fake pouted, causing Mac to laugh. "Now why is that babe?" You smirked slightly as you ran your hand across his chest "There was no desert and I was really hoping you'd already have a particular something in mind." Mac could see the lust in your eyes but was still clueless as to what you were hinting at. Men are impossible. "So what were you hoping would be desert?"

You smirked as you lowered your head down further, just barely ghosting your lips over his before letting out a quiet "Me." Before he could respond you kissed his lips hungerly, as you adjusted your body to straddle yourself on top of him. Mac began to smirk during the kiss, taking a second to take his hands, so they gripped firmly on your ass. As you began to grind your core against his crotch at a agonizingly slow pace you heard the man groan in satisfaction. "I want you to have me for desert baby, I want you to devour me. Right here, right now." You mumbled against his lips, hearing Mac whimper slightly at your dirty words. "Like here, here? Out in the open on my terrace?" He moaned, pulling away just enough to start kissing and sucking on the sensitive skin of your neck. You let out a breathy moan while nodding you head "Why not baby? Bozer gave us the place to ourselves for the night? No ones around, I think it'd be hot."

Mac couldn't argue with that, nor did he want to. His girlfriend was being extremely sexy right now and he wanted her now more then ever. "Mm baby, I'd never say no to some loving." He mumbled against her neck. As the two made love out there underneath the stars, she still couldn't believe that this guy was her guy. Knowing that even if they grow old and grey together, he will always give her butterflies.
