[Y/n Pov]

Weak.

You call yourself a soldier!?

You all are just waste of our tax money!

They died because of you.

You couldn't save them.

You sat up breathing heavily. You looked around yourself and you were on your bed. Your legs tangled with your blanket, the bedsheet under you was wrinkled and messed. You gulped closing your eyes.

The voices of all the people echoed around your mind. The look of disappointment and disgust on the face of people of the walls lingered around your head. You shook your head, trying to take them out.

You looked around your room and your gaze fell on the empty bucket which was lying on the floor. Your mind drifted back to yesterday's night scenario, breaking you once more.

_______________
[Flashback]

As you made your way to your room after the expedition and fulfilling the formalities. You open the door and met with an eerie silence. You sighed and stepped inside but just then the silence disrupted when you felt a bucket full of cold water fall over you.

You stood still, not moving at all. You knew who would have done it.

"Eld.." you whispered under your breathe. Your jaw clenched and you gritted your teeth. You were angry but not because the usual reason that he pranked you again.

But because this time you won't be able to yell at him. Petra won't be here to clean the mess you both would have created. Oluo and Gunther wouldn't be here to laugh at you.

You knelt on the floor, your head hung low and your breathe hitched.
"Eld.. you bastard." You cursed for the very last time.

[Flashback Ended]

The bucket was still lying there, the water which was pooled on the floor, was now evaporated into thin air, leaving no trace of it.

You made your way out of your bed, your feets touched the cold floor. You stepped into the bathroom and stripped out of your clothes, placing yourself under the shower.

The cold water streamed down your body, leaving a calm sensation on your skin.
The water went over the cuts and wounds on your skin, stinging a little.
You just stood there, your hands leaning on the walls. The water relaxed your headache, which was evident after your overnight crying.

You went out of the shower, and wrapped a towel around your figure. You looked at your image on the mirror, placed inside the bathroom. It was a bit foggy but still visible.

Empty.

Your eyes which once held emotions were all empty now. No emotions on your face. You drenched all your emotions last night with your overflowing tears.

I hate you. You whispered looking at your reflection.

You averted your gaze to all over the counter, looking for something. You crounched down in front of a small cabinet and opened it to search through it.

Found it.

You touched the shiny sharp metal in your hand. It was cold on your hands.
You stood up with it in your hands.
And without any second thought, without any hesitation, you cut it with the sharp metal.
