Nora's Point of View

As the hot water cascaded down my body, I closed my eyes, unable to stop myself from thinking about EZ. It was fsix in the morning and I had only been home for a few hours and sleep hadn't come easy. I was tired, but it had been worth it. I lifted my head up and let the water fall over my face as his brown eyes flashed in my mind. I would give anything to be back at his trailer with him right now. To feel his lips on mine, his hands on my body, his mouth exploring my body. To feel him inside me again. I moaned quietly as I moved my hands over my body, desperately wishing they were EZ's hands.

EZ had been thorough and he made sure I had no energy left before he let me leave. I hadn't been with anyone since Jax and I had been nervous, maybe even a little scared, but EZ had been gentle and tender. He made me feel beautiful, he made me feel safe, and he made me feel loved. It was pathetic, really, how much I missed him after only being away from him for a few hours.

Half an hour later I made my way into the kitchen where Maddie was supplying the kids with cereal and juice and preparing coffee for the two of us. Abel was sitting at the table by himself eating his cereal quietly and still not happy about having to go on this trip. Thomas was sitting at the island, kicking his feet back and forth. He had been excited the whole week to be able to go back to Charming. Honestly, Thomas was so young when we left that he didn't really remember what life was like there. As for Ava, she was just excited to be going on a trip somewhere. I was excited to take her to Charming and show her off to the crew. I had left before Ava was born and no one had met her yet.

"Eat," Maddie said playfully to the kids as she ushered me out of the kitchen, "Well...so it was a booty call..."

"I don't think what I experienced last night would be considered a booty call," I replied as my stomach did a somersault, "He was thorough and there was nothing quick about what happened last night."

"So, it was good?" Maddie asked as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"How is it even possible to feel so deeply for someone so quickly?" I asked, ignoring her first question, "I feel like he is the one I've been waiting for. Is that even possible? Does that even make sense? Do I sound crazy?"

Maddie burst out laughing as she put her hands on my shoulders.

"Jesus, Nora," Maddie replied through her laughter, "Your mind must be racing. No, you don't sound crazy. Whether you want to admit it or not, you sound like a woman in love. Also, very few women have the opportunity of falling in love with a Reyes brother. You and I are the lucky ones."

"Maddie, it's just been so long," I said quietly, "Falling in love with someone...after all these years. It feels so foreign, and so scary. I'm terrified."

Even if I wanted to I don't think I could turn my back on it. What I was feeling was far too intense for me to try and ignore. I started gathering up bags and suitcases and figured I would get a head start on loading up the Jeep. I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. It was only a three hour drive, but if I prolonged the inevitable for much longer, I was going to cancel the trip and stay home.

"The last thing I want to do is go to Charming right now," I groaned, "I have no desire to go back to that God forsaken town."

"Are you sure this has nothing to do with EZ?" Maddie asked while helping me with the bags.

"It has almost everything to do with EZ and not wanting be away from him," I muttered, "But it also has to do with the fact that when I drive back into Charming, I will have to deal with all my demons head on."

"Is it really going to be that bad?" Maddie asked curiously as we made our way outside with the suitcases.

"There are many demons in Charming," I muttered as I threw the suitcases in the back of the Jeep, "Now let's get this trip over with."
