The sound of my alarm buzzing through my room woke me letting me know it was time to get ready to head out for the day. I'm really a morning person so I jumped straight out of bed. Food aromas filled my nose making me smile, but instead of going straight to the kitchen I went to the bathroom to shower and get dressed.
After I was done doing my thing, I finally followed the food aromas.
Once I reached the kitchen, in front of me was standing my gorgeous boyfriend, shirtless with only Grey sweats on. His back was towards me so I took this time to stare at how sexy he looked making our plates.

His skin glistened, making his full body of tattoos shine, his back muscles defined, his cologne mixing with the breakfast filling my nose.
"Ahem." I announced my presence causing him to spin around flashing his perfect teeth at me.
"Morning baby." He cooed motioning over to me kissing my forehead.
"Morning." I responded taking a seat at the island where he sat my plate.
My boyfriend Rome and I have been together for about 2 months now. He's sweet and gentle with me and I love it. This is my first actual relationship so I'm taking things slow, and luckily for me, he's fine with that.
Let's go back in time though. Lots of changes have occurred in my life in the past 6 months. Things for me have been good, positive, and productive.
After finding out I had no relation to my sister and mother, I had what most people would call a mental break. I cut all ties with Chris... after I left his house I never spoke to him again. I didn't block him, I just ignored him. He reached out several times after that night but I ignored all of his efforts. I was heart broken on many levels and I just needed time to myself.
