"Ayeeee, let's go Chrissss!" My sis Sky hyped me up as I danced to my latest hit single No Guidance. "I knew you was gon fuck it uppp." She gassed as I hit my little dance move. I laughed and stopped while still mouthing the words.
I had just touched back down in LA this morning from shooting the music video with Drake in Miami.
Heard my little homie Kylie was throwing a party so you know I had to pull up on her.
These past months I've been strictly focused on the album which was going to feature 32 songs. I sit in the studio 20 hours a day damn near and this free night to get drunk and turn up with my niggas was much needed.
I stood there cutting up with Sky, India and my brother Justin.
"Y'all clowns." I laughed after they finished they hyping session. India passed me the blunt we had in rotation I pulled from it enjoying my time.
I felt someone drunkenly brush pass me knocking me a little off balance. "Got damn." I mumbled turning to see who drunk ass was bout to knock my big ass over.
My eyes coulda been playing tricks on me but that can't be who I think it is. I mean I guess it could, being she remained very close with Kylie even after cutting me off.
When we locked eyes, hers widened confirming it was indeed who I thought it was.
"Karin?" I spoke loud enough for myself to hear but over the music she probably wouldn't. She sighed trying to continue to walk by like she had no idea who a nigga was.
"Aye!" I yelled louder over the beat playing, gently grabbing ahold of her arm.
"Hi." She responded shyly like it was our first time meeting all over again.
"I stood closer to her so I could refrain from having to yell, "What's up stranger."
She blushed a little looking away, not even the alcohol could hide how nervous she looked to see me after all this time. She looked good as hell as always. I wanted to pull her into a hug but I know we not on those terms no more.
"How you been? You look good." I boldly said.
"Thanks. But I've been great, thanks for asking. You?"
"I'm hanging in there. The girl of my dreams ghosted me though so it's been a hard road..."
"Mmm." She hummed.
"There you go!!" A small petite girl ran up to her grabbing her arm. I noticed her as her friend who I met the first time I met her.
"What are you doing over here?" she asked. It took her a minute to notice me standing there but when she did her eyes bulged out of her head.
