We all gathered in our cars and hit the club. Kymora and Justin went home because even though I'm not old enough for the clubs we be going to , they were still minors so the risk of getting caught with them were worst that getting caught me me and Jayda at 18 and 19.
I changed into something a little more clubby. Saying I was uncomfortable was an understatement but I was really serious about getting out of my comfort zone. The tomboy girl was still in me but my confidence was on the rise and I wanted to try different things.
Everyone planned to meet up inside, Chris had his security team meet him as well. We were all accounted for beside Justin, but his own brother didn't even notice because he had been in India's face the whole night.
We had the section to ourselves and for the first time I didn't get the "pretend to be a groupie" talk. I guess Chris was serious about not caring if people found out.
Speaking of groupies, there was a line of them begging to be let in to the section, feening to meet Chris and Christian.
"These bitches better move before I go the fuck off. It's not even that serious." Sky scoffed. Us girls all laughed watching as they pressed the security to let them in.
"I can't imagine being that thirsty to meet a celebrity." I rolled my eyes at how obsessed some people can be.
"Girl don't act like that cause if it wasn't for me being exactly like them, we woulda never been backstage with Chris and you woulda never been his girlfriend right now." Jayda nudged my arm.
I thought for a moment considering her being right, but Chris is my soulmate. So if it wasn't that day, it would have just been another.
"Eh. What's meant to be will always find a way. But thanks for being thirsty friend." I laughed.
Sky pulled my arm dragging me to the bottle girl that was serving us. "Let's drink I'm on the cusp of being sober and I don't like it." I nodded following suit. We stood and waited for our drinks to be made.
As we waited for her to return with the bottle of our choice, I watched Chris have fun interacting with his friends. He had huge smile on his face and I couldn't help but smile myself.
"That's all you." Sky spoke from beside me breaking my focus on my man.
"What you mean?" I asked clueless at what she was referring to.
"The smile my brother wearing. It real. Not forced, not a facade. He's genuinely happy for the first time in awhile and it's because of you." She grabbed the drinks from the bottle girl and handled one to me.
"I can't take all the credit. He's been throwing himself into his music. Spent almost a year working on his album and it's ready to go out. I know I'm part of his happiness but that album got the number one spot."
