I smiled as I put the final touches on my table. I had my booth set up inside of a hair salon that I use to get my hair done at. The owner was very cool and allowed me to do my pop up at their location. They did everything from braids, extensions, perms, blowouts, you name it. This was the perfect location to introduce my brand because the salon was very popular and had a large amount of foot traffic. I promoted the event on social media for weeks and I was confidence that many people would show.
It was the best of both worlds because if you purchased any wig or bundles from me, one of the hairstylist would install it for free. I was awarding them 10% of my earnings to compensate and with the price of my luxury hair, I could afford it. Plus we would both earn returning customers. A win win.
It was almost time for the event to start. I went to the bathroom to check my makeup hair and outfit.

"We ready to open the doors Karin." Lacy the owner yelled from outside the door.
"I'll be right there." I yelled back as I re applied some lip gloss. "Let's go get this money." I said to myself. I opened the door and rejoined everyone out in the salon area. As I made my way back to my table I noticed a huge bouquet of pink roses sitting on top. I smiled ear to ear.
I found the card and read it to myself. Wish I could be there but I know you gon kill it. Love you.

I stood by my station as Lacy opened up for business.
Shortly after a pool of people poured in. I have my newest celeb friends to thank for that. Sky and Love had been posting flyers all over their Instagram for the event, and shouting me out for being their new hair plug. Definitely got them right with some bomb ass units though. I even had Kylie wearing my shit, and she also posted a few times. Money was definitely about to make itself and I couldn't be happier. My Kylie Cosmetics collab checks pay my bills but I had my eye on a new car I wanted to cop and I had my mind on owning it by the end of the month.
People were in and out for the past two hours, I sold more units than I could count already and the day wasn't even over. Half of my customers sat in a chair to have the units installed immediately, which was great for promo cause I was able to take their photos after which I was saving to post on my IG.
"Frienddddd." I heard a loud ass voice coming from the littlest body ever. Jayda bounced over to me super excited giving me a quick hug.
