I slammed everything around in my bathroom trying to get clean and decent as the frustration settled in.
Why.
Why is Liyah's mom here? I'm not even on the best terms with her and now I have to sit and carry a fake smile on with her and her mother.
Her mother.
The timing of this couldn't be any worst than it already is. My anxiety was plummeting through the roof. There's got to be a way for me to get out of this. Don't I have something to do today? Anything. Anything but this would be amazing. I haven't seen her mom since my father's funeral. I haven't really seen any of my relatives since his funeral. But she is my favorite aunt. The woman who is the person I thought was my mother's sister. In retrospect she's lied about that lady being my mother just as much as anybody else but she always treated me like it was true. Whatever hate Katrina has in her heart for me, Sabrina never mirrored it. She always treated me like the same blood running through my veins, ran through hers. I'm not going to be an asshole and not see her, but I really do not want to. I have my reasons...
There was a knock on my bathroom door. I fumbled with my brush as the sound caught me off guard. Looking in the mirror one last time to ensure I didn't look like I was doing, what I was doing prior to this, I opened the door. Chris's tall body hovered over me with a blunt and a lighter in his hand.
His eyes read sympathy. He knew what emotions were running through my body at this moment and he knew what I needed to calm down. A blunt. I offered a half smile at his gesture, motioning to the side of the doorway so that he could enter the bathroom with me.
After closing the door back, I flipped the switch that turns on the bathroom vent, never really understood what it was for but somehow it made sense to turn it on while smoking in the bathroom. He sat on the edge of my tub, me following suit and making a seat of the toilet. He didn't speak, he just lit the blunt pulling it once, and handing it off to me. I needed it more.
I wrapped my plump lips around the tip of the blunt and pulled the harsh smoke through so that it started fill my mouth. Once I got enough, I quickly inhaled it letting the drug course through my body attacking the nerves that currently had me on edge. Holding my breathe for a few seconds, I then blew it back out through my nose. I slumped back on the tank of the toilet and just let myself enjoy the feeling that was temporarily easing my mind.
"Thank you." I glared over to him through my low eyes. He smiled with a small head nod in my direction.
I took in his appearance, he had thrown on a plain black t-shirt and grey sweat shorts. His hair was damp from sweat, his blonde curls sticking to the top of his forehead. His beard desperately needed to be brushed as the hairs started to clunk together and create gaps that showed his pale skin. His freckles sitting under his eyes, his eyes so big and full. Then his lips. Big and pink, circled with hair. The same lips that had been attached to mine all morning as he grind in and out of me for hours in many, many positions.
"You good mama?" His eyes were glued to mine but I was so mesmerized with him I didn't even notice.
I blushed looking away. "Yeah." He smirked as if he read straight into my mind of the last lingering thought I had of him.
"How am I going to get out of here?" He shook his head with a grin on his face.
I wasn't sure why he said that or what he meant. I mean yeah my cousin and my aunt are probably sitting in the living room waiting for my arrival but so what. I am past the point of caring what anybody has to say. I'm an adult and a man leaving my room was my business. Sabrina isn't my parent, she can't really say anything to me in regards to that. Now him being who he is, that's another story.
