----- LOUIS' POV -----

I woke up the next morning with an aching headache, pulling out my phone to find 7 unread messages from my mum. Weird.

Mum: Hi, Loulou, I got Mumma's phone.

Mum: Loulou, why no reply?

Mum: Louuuuu, talk to me.

Mum: Lou, mum says you're in trouble.

Mum: Hi, big bro, miss you! <33

Mum: Hey, sorry Boobear. Lottie, Phoebe and Daisy got my phone.

Mum: But they were right, you're in trouble mister!

I smiled at my phone, I couldn't miss my girls anymore, mum included, they're my world.

Spending 12 years in a house filled with girls often takes a toll on how you perceive life, for me it was that if my girls weren't happy then neither was I.

When mine, Lottie, and Felicite's dad left, we only really had each other. Lottie was 5, Felicite was 3, and I was nearly 13, I had to grow up fast and I had to be there for Lottie and Felicite. Mum was upset, didn't really leave her room other than for work to support us kids for nearly a year. Me, Lottie, and Felicite did everything together. I'd cook, clean, take them to school and pick them up.

It's kind of just become a routine.

On Mondays we'd go home I'd cook and then we'd eat, we'd both do our homework and then we'd curl up on the couch and watch a movie until Lottie and Felicite fell asleep. After that I'd carry them to the room they shared, tuck them in. I usually went and checked on mum, then I'd go fall into my own bed.

On Tuesday's we'd go visit our grandparents. They'd ask the normal questions; 'How's mum?' 'How are you kids doing?' 'Are you eating enough?' the answers were always she's fine, we're good and yes, they never needed to be anything else.

On Wednesdays Lottie usually went to a friend's house. I'd go home, cook me and Felicite some food, do my homework while she watched Tv. And then we'd wait until 5:00 when we could walk and pick Lottie back up. I guess you could say they were the highlight of my life

On Thursdays I had football training for two hours. Lottie and Felicite would usually come watch – they always wanted too and would make a fuss when I wanted them to go home with gramps – sitting on the stands cheering out to me. Unless it was cold, in which case I made sure that gramps would come pick them up and take them home staying with them until I walked in the house later.

On Fridays we'd all go home. I'd cook, we'd eat, do our homework for the weekend, watch a movie or two. Felicite would usually fall asleep, so I'd carry her to bed, tuck her in and kiss her goodnight. After that, I'd go back downstairs and sit with Lottie until she fell asleep too, repeating the same and taking her to bed, tucking her in and kissing her goodnight. Then I'd go check on mum again telling her about the girls and go to bed myself.

Saturdays and Sundays were mine, Lottie's and Felicite's favourite days because we usually spent at least one day (Saturday) at the park down the road from our house. The other (Sunday) was spent curled up the four of us in mums' bed, laughing, smiling, watching movies and being a family of four.

Every day I made sure to take my mum breakfast with a variety of drinks and snacks in the morning that she could eat and drink throughout the day. Then when I got home, I'd make sure to take her food for tea.

I didn't mind having to look after Lottie and Felicite. I knew my mum and I knew she wasn't coping very well with my dad leaving. Lottie and Felicite knew too, so we never nagged her to do anything.
