The next thing Louis knew, the door was swinging wide, and he had a sobbing Lottie jumping into his arms. He wrapped his arms tightly around his little sister feeling her sob into his shoulder. He pulled her tighter and started walking down the stairs. When Louis got downstairs he walked straight to the living room smiling over Lottie's shoulder at the rest of his family. "I'm going to miss you all so much," he spoke softly squeezing Lottie tighter.
The two littlest girls ran up to him and wrapped their arms around Louis legs, he smiled softly down at them when they started speaking, "We'll miss you too."
"Lottie, babe. I need to put you down yeah and hug everyone else."
Lottie slowly released her grip, sadly she spoke, "Okay." Lottie carefully slid down Louis' body when the twins had stepped back.
Louis wrapped the twins in a tight hug, "I'll see you soon yeah?"
"Yeah," they chorused.
Louis stood up and hugged the older blonde, "Be good for mum and dad alright, Fiz?"
"Okay," she smiled at her brother.
Next Louis pulled his mum into a hug, "Call me whenever and I'll come home, I love you."
"I love you too, sweet. Have the best time in London and we'll see you in august for the girls birthdays?" Johannah whispered into his ear.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world," he said loudly before whispering, "I'll be home on the third with Harry and we're staying until the 17th, if that's okay?"
"'Course it is sweet. Girls will love it."
Louis smiled when he pulled away from his mum before engulfing Mark in a hug, "I love you," he hesitated unsure how the next word would go down, "Dad," he'd never called Mark dad before, unless he was talking to the girls. But since Mark adopted him at graduation Louis had been wanting to find the right time to say it. Louis took Mark pulling him in tighter and the tear dripping to his neck as a good sign.
"I love you, son. So much." He patted Mark on the back once before pulling away. Lottie immediately pulled him into a hug again.
"I'm really gonna miss you Louis," she sobbed.
"I know sweet, I'll mis you too," Luis checked the living room clock once, nine fifty-three, and crouched down to Lottie's level, "call me and I'll be here as soon as yeah?"
"Okay, I love you."
"I love you too." Louis smiled and stood up, "one last family hug?"
Everyone engulfed each other in on big hug. A series of laughs echoing around the room. They pulled apart and walked Louis to the door. Louis slipped his feet into his black vans, the only pair left in the house, and grabbed Harry's lilac jumper. He opened the door, house keys in hand, he turned and waved before he slipped into his car.
He waved through the window as he drove off, smiling at his little sisters and parents.

Three hours and fifteen minutes later after a straight run through, no delays and no traffic. Louis was pulling up outside the apartment block. He parked in a random spot out front before getting out of the car to stretch his legs quickly. He quickly shot Liam a, 'You here yet? Wanna grab coffee?' message. He quickly shut his phone off when he saw Liam walking towards him, "Li, hey."
"Hi, Louis," Liam replied.
"I just shot you a message actually, wanna grab coffee before we sign?"
"Sure."
Liam and Louis headed to the closest Starbucks. Louis order a plain black coffee and Liam ordered an americano. They sat at a table by the window and started talking. Excitement of moving in bubbling in their stomach.
At one twenty they headed back to the apartment ready for Liam to get his keys.
Liam signed the sheet and the lady handed over the keys before she turned to Louis and spoke politely, "Are you moving in too?"
"Yeah," Louis smiled.
"Floor, flat number and last name?"
"Oh, 12, 4 and Tomlinson."
"Louis?"
"Yeah that's me."
"Well since you're here early sign this and you can have your keys now."
"Oh, thank you," Louis signed on the line the lady told him too. She handed him the keys – two sets – and he thanked her a last time.
Liam and Louis turned towards the flat building after saying goodbye to the lady. Liam pushed his key in the door and unlocked the main door. They both walked inside and headed over to the lift. Louis pressed the button and when the doors opened they stepped inside. Liam pressed the '12' button and the lift started moving. When they got to the top they walked out and split walking into their own flats.
Louis pushed his key into the door and gentle nudged it open, he stepped through the threshold, soft beige carpet brushing against his feet.
To Louis' right was a large living area. A plush dark grey L-sofa was pushed tight to the white painted wall, a glass coffee table out Infront with a fluffy white rug tucked underneath. A large white TV stand pushed against the furthest wall, no TV in sight. Two tall cream lamps stood either side of where the TV should go. A small light grey armchair placed diagonally against, presumably, the spare bedroom wall.
To Louis' left a painted white wall ready for photos to be hung, a single light wood door halfway down the wall. Louis walked up to the door and turned the knob, pushing the door wide and walking inside. T the left of the room an open door leading towards a spacious walk-in wardrobe. On the wall straight Infront of Louis stood another light wood door, he walked over to it and opened it wide. In the room stood a tall shower to the right of the door and a double sink and mirror to the left. There was a full-length bath in the farthest left corner and a clean white toilet opposite. Louis walked back out of the bathroom and continued to look around the bedroom. He walked slightly to the left a turned to fae the master bedroom. A king-sized bed in the centre, no sheets or pillows resting on the mattress, a small brown bedside table pressed close to each side of the bed. A chest of draws propped against the wall opposite the bed, a wall attachment for a TV hung above. He did a full turn looking over his new bedroom once more before walking out again. He turned to the left to walk into the rest of the flat.
Louis didn't go into the spare bedroom knowing it was the same layout as the master just with a double bed instead of a king-sized, there was no bath in the bathroom, it was only a single sink, and it didn't have a walk-in wardrobe. He walked further into the flat looking to the left to see an open plan kitchen-diner. A large island with a marble top in the centre of the kitchen and a wooden table that seats six off to the right. Straight ahead from Louis stood a glass door looking out onto the balcony. To the right two wooden doors stood pressed into a white painted wall, one led to the spare bedroom and the other a utility room. Louis walked into the utility room. To his left stood both a washing machine and a tumble dryer and to the right three floor length cupboards. Infront of him was empty space, wither used for storage or a drying area for clothes.
Louis checked his phone for the time, one forty. He quickly messaged Harry with, 'At the flat now, I love it. Can't wait for you to see it. I've got your key. Text me when you're going to be here <3' After sending the message Louis decided he wanted to take a nap before he unloaded his car. He walked over to the L-sofa and flopped onto one side, getting comfortable and closing his eyes slowly letting sleep pull him in.
