Harry and Louis drove away from the venue after knowing that everyone had left, and everything was tidy. They drove for thirty minutes to the Frankie and Benny's on the other side of town.

When they got there the boys slowly got out of the car and. walked around the front. Louis entwined his fingers with Harry and squeezed before they walked in.

As they walked through the door a short ginger women walked up to a stand. They walked over to the woman and Louis spoke up, "Hi, reservation for Tomlinson at eleven?"

The women, who's name card read Caitlin, looked down a list in front of her, "Ahh yes, follow me." Harry and Louis followed behind Caitlin to a secluded table in the far end of the restaurant. They sat down and she spoke again, "Here are your menus, your waitress is Rebecca and she'll be with you in a few minutes."

"No worries, thank you," Louis smiled at the Caitlin before she turned to walk away. Louis looked back to Harry and smiled before looking into the menu at the drinks section, "H?"

"Hmm?" Harry hummed.

"A bottle of red wine to share yeah?" Louis questioned before he gently kicked his foot out so it would nudge against Harry's leg.

"Yeah, I'd like that." Harry and Louis continued to look over the menu deciding what they wanted to eat.

Five minutes later, a short, brunette walked over to them, "Hi, I'm Rebecca and I'll be your waitress today. Can I ask you what you'll be having to drink tonight?" she softly spoke as she pulled a notepad and pen out of her black apron pocket.

"Can we have a bottle of the Sicilia Merlot Bottle to share please" Louis smiled up at the girl, noticing the sparkle in her bluey green eyes.

"Yes, that's absolutely fine. Are you wanting starters?"

"Umm, yes please, two of the Southern Fried Chicken please."

"Yes, barbecue or hot sauce with those?" Rebecca asked.

Louis looked at Harry, to which Harry nodded before Louis spoke up, "One of each please."

"Yep not a problem. And for your mains?"

Harry spoke up first, "Can I have the Chicken & Prawn Alfredo please."

"Yes, not a problem, which pasta? We've got, spaghetti or rigatoni?"

"Rigatoni please."

Of course, and for you Sir?" Rebecca smiled looking over at Louis.

"Can I have Frankie's Classic Meatballs, please."

"Perfect, which pasta?"

"Spaghetti, please." Louis smiled as he handed back his menu. Harry following shorty after.

"Not a problem, I'll be back with your drinks in a few," Rebecca smiled a last time before turning and walking away from the table, her long brunette hair tied in a tight ponytail swishing over her shoulder as she walked.

Once Rebecca was out of sight, Louis turned back to Hardy and started up a conversations, "I think that the girls really loved tonight don't you?"

"i do, Lottie was telling me how she hasn't had this much fun on her birthday since her dad left," Harry said, he reached his hand across the table and intertwined his and Louis' hands when he saw the man across from him tense up.

"Yeah, hum, we've never really been able to celebrate birthdays like this, after dad left."

"Mind me asking why?"

"Umm, money mostly. But uhm, it never felt right after he left, we weren't really a close family after that."

"What changed? The girls love you."

Louis smiled, "Mark came along, we had a second income, and I spent pretty much all of my free time with the girls," he laughed happily at the memories, "Mark, he, uhm, he didn't replace my dad, but he became a second. When mum married him, I was so happy for them but I uhm, I missed my dad."

"I understand that Louis," Harry replied.

"But it's okay, I asked Mark to adopt me at graduation. He's my dad, and I love him with my whole heart." Louis continued, "we still didn't do much for birthdays, just a couple of presents and a family meal at home, but the girls and I loved it," he smiled again, "and now I've got a job, I can spoil them all I want. The only way we were able to do so much today is because I paid part, and I can't wait to do the same for the twins someday."

"Louis, you're the best big brother I know."

Harry and Louis smiled at each other and continued their conversation talking about their night and how much they enjoyed it. The next thing they knew, Rebecca was walking back over to their table with their drinks and starters. She smiled at them, "I hope you enjoy." Before she walked away again.

They tucked into their chicken, and before long they'd emptied their plates, sauces, and a glass of wine each.

Shortly after they'd cleared their plates, Rebecca was back bringing them their main dishes and clearing away their empty plates.

Harry and Louis, sprinkled their cheese on to the pasta and began eating, having short conversations throughout their meal. The restaurant was slowly thinning out, by the time they had finished their meal they were the last ones there. Rebecca came back with their bill and the cork for the wine bottle so that they could take it away with them.

Louis looked at the bill and immediately placed his card on it. Harry groaned but knew he wouldn't get anywhere so let Louis pay. Rebecca walked back over to the table and spoke, "Follow me."

Harry and Louis stood up and followed Rebecca to the card machine. She inputted the price and spoke to them, "That'll be forty-eight pounds and sixty pence please."

Louis smiled and pushed his card into the machine. He quickly typed in his pin and pulled the card out when it flashed up with approved. They thanked Rebecca one last time before walking out of the restaurant holding hands. They got back into Louis' car and Harry turned to Louis to speak, "Can we go get ice-cream?"

"Of course, Love. Shop bought okay?" Louis asked and when he saw Harry nod, he pulled out of the restaurant car park and headed to the supermarket down the road. They parked up in the car park and walked inside the shop to the freezer isle. Harry picked up three boxes of ice-cream, strawberry, vanilla, and mint chocolate, knowing that when the girls woke up the next day they'd want some of it too.

After Harry had paid for the ice-cream, they left the store and travelled back home. They pulled into the driveway at half past midnight, they carefully walked through the front door, they placed the ice-cream on the kitchen counter and went upstairs to get changed. Harry changed from his jeans and shirt into a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt before he walked back down the stairs. Louis changed into a pair of his own sweatpants and a sweatshirt that was probably Harry's before he followed the younger boy down the stairs.

They say on the couch, eating ice-cream and watching films. Around four a.m. Harry was falling asleep on Louis' shoulder so Louis, put the ice-cream in the freezer and helped Harry upstairs to be. With a whispered, "I love you," from both of the boys they drifted off into a content sleep.
