----- LOUIS' POV -----
I woke up the next morning to my alarm blaring across the room, I groaned blinking my eyes open. I noticed I was still pressed against the side of Harry's body; I attempted to move and turn it off when I felt an arm pull me impossibly closer and heard a whisper, "Stay, you're warm."
I smiled, "Harry, I need to turn my alarm off. Plus, I need to get up I'm going home today." I couldn't help the excitement that was lacing my voice, even though I'd seen the girls a week ago. I'd never really spent more than a night away from my family until I moved to Manchester and I couldn't help but miss them. After all I'd spent most of my teenage years looking after the four little girls and in all honestly, I'd always been a Mumma's boy. Even before my dad left my mum was always my best friend, I could tell her anything and I never felt like she'd judge me.
What snapped me out of my thoughts was the feeling of Harry tracing the tattoos on my arm and asking, "What time?"
"It's 10:00."
"No, I mean what time you going home?"
"Me and Stan are leaving at 12:00," I replied.
"Yeah, so we still have two hours you can stay in bed with me for a little while."
"No, Harry. I need to pack, someone decided to take me out last night, so I didn't finish, and I need to get food and fill my car up," I said, poking his chest, causing him to giggle.
"Lou, stop it tickles," he started, and I stopped and looked up at him resting my chin on his toned chest. "Can't we just stay here for another half hour then I'll help you pack?"
"What about food and filling my car up though?"
"You can go fill your car up, I'll go get food and we can meet back here at 11:30," he grinned having planned this all out.
"Fine 30 minutes, but, after I will be getting out of bed and packing."
"You're excited, aren't you?"
"Very, what gave it away?" I replied through a smile.
"How happy you look, and the fact you've been talking about it any chance you got since the beginning of October," he replied, still stroking up and down my arm.
I smiled up at him, "H. Lottie, Fiz, Phoebe, and Daisy mean everything to me. I spent most of my teenage years taking care of them and being the 'parent' of the house, Mum and Mark were just trying to support us, so it meant I had to look after the girls, up until I moved to Manchester the most amount of time I'd ever stayed away from the house was over night when I'd stop out at Stan's house," I sighed before I continued, "I thought I'd be okay but no, those girls mean the world to me, mum, and Mark too. I'm really struggling not seeing them every day."
"I get that Lou I really do; I was the same with mum and Gem's. But then college started, and I realised I didn't have all the time in the world and now as much as I miss them, I only get to see them at holidays or I try to at least make it home once a month, making sure Gem is there when I go," he looked down at me smiling.
"It was just hard after he left, Lottie and Felicite were all I knew, and I was all they knew. Mum was sort of out the picture."
"I get that Lou, they sound like amazing girls and you're so strong going through all of that," he said, using the pads of his thumbs to wipe my tears, I hadn't even realised I was crying.
"Okay, I don't wanna talk about it anymore," I yawned, looking at my phone to read 10:10.
"We've got 20 minutes Lou, you're still tired go back to sleep I'll wake you back up."
