Chapter Sixty - August

Thursday 5th, August.

The day after Lottie's birthday, Harry and Louis were woken up around ten to the girls arguing loudly down the hall in one of their bedrooms over where they wanted to go that day. Harry and Louis checked the time before they decided to get up and go and stop the girls. They both pulled on their sweatpants and sweaters before heading down the hall to look for the four girls. Harry and Louis found the girls in Lottie's room. Louis walked into the room while speaking, "If you don't shut up and sit down none if you will be going anywhere for the next two days." The girls immediately stopped shouting and either sat on Lottie's bed or on the floor looking down at their laps. "Right, I'm going to ask you where you want to go today. One at a time, Daisy?"   

"I want to go swimming, Lou," Daisy replied shyly.

"Okay, Phoebe?"

"Swimming please," Phoebe smiled at her brother.

"Felicite?"

"Ice-skating, please Lou," Felicite sheepishly replied.

"And Lottie?"

"Shopping," Lottie spoke softly.

"How about we go swimming today," Louis put his finger to his lips when he saw the girls starting to talk, "and then we can go ice-skating next Tuesday," he laughed at Lottie huffing, "and then Lottie, me and Harry can take you shopping after Fizzy's birthday, okay?"

A chorus of 'okay's were bounced back at Louis before he spoke up again, "Alright, pack your bags and I'll go talk to mum."

Harry went back to Louis' room to get ready and grab his and Louis' swim things. While Louis went down the stairs to find his parents and ask about taking them swimming. Mark and Johannah replied with a yes as long as the girls were safe.

When the girls came down the stairs with their bags packed Harry and Louis helped them to get their bags out to the car. After putting the bags in the back, they climbed into the families seven-seater car. They drove for half an hour to Doncaster's indoor waterpark. They queued up and Louis paid for all seven wristbands. Once the bands were paid for and placed securely on their right wrists they headed through. Harry went on his own into the male changing rooms and Louis took his sisters into the family change so that he could help them. Once all of his sisters were changed he took them out to Harry and quickly went back to get himself changed. They placed all of their bags into a locker and headed through to the pools and slides.

Two hours later, after they'd been on every slide at least four times and done laps of the pool as well as going to the outdoor waterfall, the whistle was blown, and they had to make their way out. They repeated the same way of getting changed as they did going in. once they were all, showered, dried, and changed they made their way back to the car. All six of them put their bags in the back before getting into the car, it was half past one and they hadn't eaten yet, so Louis took them through the McDonalds drive through.

They all ordered their food and headed home. When they got home and they'd eaten their food, Louis, Harry, and the girls went through to the living room to sit and watch films for the rest of the day.

Friday 6th, August.

Louis' four siblings begged the two boys to take them to London on the Friday so that they could see where the boys were living. Louis and Harry had obviously given in when Phoebe and Daisy turned on the 'puppy dog' eyes, they batted their eyelashes once and Harry was saying yes. So, after speaking to Johannah and Mark, packing their bags and showering they all piled into the family car and set off to London. Three and a half hours later they were pulling up outside the apartment building. The six of them each grabbed their bags before Louis pushed the outer building door open and walked inside. they walked to the lift and clicked the number for floor '12'. For that night, they went for a meal with Niall and Liam, Zayn was due to arrive in two days. They also played multiple board games before heading to bed. Harry and Louis had their own room, and the twins shared their spare room. Lottie and Felicite went with Liam and shared his spare room while he slept in his own. As for Niall he had his apartment all to himself.

Saturday 7th, August.

Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall spent the day with the girls at the park. They played numerous rounds of football not playing by any of the rules before they moved on to playing with the girls on the climbing frame.

After climbing around for over an hour the girls wanted to swing, each boy helped one of Louis' siblings into a swing and began pushing them, the girls trying to see who could get the highest.

At around seven in the evening after several hours in the park and a trip to the restaurant down the street for dinner they decided to call it a night and head back to the apartments. Harry and Louis ended up each carrying one of the twins while they slept, Niall was holding Lottie's hand walking a head and Liam was slightly further behind giving a piggyback to Felicite. When they reached the apartments they carefully piled into the elevator and went to the twelfth floor. When the door dinged they all walked out and went to Harry and Louis' apartment. Harry and Louis took the twins to bed tucking them in and whispering goodnight. They came back out of the room to see Niall and Liam on the couch, Lottie's head in Liam's lap, her eyes closed and small breaths puffing through her lips and Felicite's head in Niall's lap at the opposite end, her eyes slowly closing as Niall played with her hair. Harry and Louis smiled down at the girls before sitting on the grey armchair to the side, they curled up close before turning on the TV and setting a movie to play. 

When the movie ended around both girls were still fast asleep, the boys agreed the girls and them needed the rest if they were going to help Zayn move in the flowing day. So, Harry picked up Felicite and Louis picked up Lottie and followed behind Liam. Liam opened the door and they walked out across to his flat, he unlocked the door and Harry, and Louis carried the girls to the spare bedroom. They carefully placed them in bed, tucking them in and whispering goodnight before they headed back to their own flat, settling in and falling asleep.
