The next morning while Kinsey and Eric were making breakfast, the kids wanted to know all about their evening. Eric could only smile as Kinsey shared her excited tale of the Cirque du Soleil show. She spared no detail and, as she predicted, Daisy was very intrigued and wanted to go see the show herself. Kinsey promised that eventually they’d take her to see one. They were nearly done with breakfast by the time Kinsey and Daisy had finished talking about the show!
Jesse told them all about their fun evening with the rest of the band and Kellie & Jake. The wonderful nachos, the games, the movie, and just getting to spend time with the rest of the group. Kinsey was happy to hear they had had a good time! Eric was glad that his band, ex-wife, and tour manager was willing to hang out with the kids and show them a good time while he took out their big sister. They deserved a life just like Kinsey did.
After breakfast Eric took the family out for their final day of togetherness for a while. Their first stop was the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. The exhibits, interactive exhibits, 3D videos, all the children were super excited! Kinsey photographed what she could and even took videos of when the kids were at the interactive exhibits. Some of their reactions were quite cute! Hayden and Jesse were more impressed with The World’s Largest Dinosaurs exhibit than their sisters although Bella seemed a bit afraid of them.
They went through everywhere the kids wanted to see before deciding to move to their next destination. Eric decided to take them to Frankie’s Fun Park. They had everything a child could need for a whole afternoon’s worth of fun. Rookie go-kart track, several “big kid” tracks, arcade, sky trail, lazer tag, bowling, mini golf, in-door funhouse, batting cages, bumper boats, and even what was called the Spider Web. It was, according to Eric, It is a colossal, three-story, sticky, tricky, icky web for kids to get tangled in. Hearing about this place made the kids get really excited!
Eric promised they would eat while they were there so the kids could play as long as they wanted. Daisy and Jesse immediately wanted to go to the Rookie track. Eric just smiled and said he’d race them to it. Kinsey just shook her head at him as she led the toddlers and Lane to the funhouse. Bella and Hayden, as soon as they saw what she was walking towards, took off toward it. She found a seat at a table and took Lane out of his stroller. He needed to move around too! Kinsey was keeping a good eye on the baby but she was getting some fun photos of the toddlers.
“Kinsey! Kinsey!” Jesse yelled as the trio came up to where she was sitting watching the other three
“Yes Jesse?” Kinsey smiled
“Those go-karts were so fun! You should try them!” The excitable young boy exclaimed
“Maybe I will later. Want to try the funhouse?” Kinsey asked
