Niall drove as fast as he could, not caring he was going over the speed limit. He felt so much anger and hatred towards his father. But he just couldn’t stop crying. The tears filled his eyes, not making it clear for him to drive. But he didn’t care; he wished to be as far away from his father as he could. Niall couldn’t believe his own father had the decency to walk through that door after 16 years thinking that he was welcome. Well not after he’d done what he did to his own mother.
Niall always looked out for his dad before he left, he thought he was a hero and nothing and no one could change his mind about that. All until his father left. Greg sat Niall down when he was about ten and said, “Niall, dad did something that you should never ever do to a girl. Cheat.” Yet Niall was still too young to understand what that word was or meant, he just thought he’d cheated in a game. As he grew older he started to understand more of it. His father had an affair with his mother. And that’s when Niall had promised himself to never treat a girl as if they were any less important than men and to stay faithful, and that’s all he’s ever been.
“So,” Kaylee said as she gathered her things together, “I better head off. Have fun, but not too much fun.”
Georgia laughed as she’d poured herself a glass of champagne she’d received from Kaylee, “Oh it’s going to get crazy here tonight with my bottle of champagne and chick flicks.”
The both of them laughed together. Once again, Kaylee had grown on Georgia. The reason being; was because Niall had stopped coming around but Georgia started going around there. It was sneaky, but Kaylee always thought she was at Ruby’s house studying or at Louis’.
“I guessed that,” Kaylee sarcastically spoke, “If you need anything though, call me.”
“Got it,” Georgia said as she brought her bottle of champagne and movies into the lounge room, “Call you.” And with another goodbye, Kaylee was out the door.
Georgia should’ve been out partying to celebrate the fact she’d graduated from high school. But she’d rather sit at home, watching chick flicks. Her first flick of the night was going to be Remember Me, simply because Robert Pattison was a main character. And she tended to watch this movie over and over again ending in tears. She got a real emotion kicker out of movies, whether realistic or not.
After an hour or so, she’d wondered why Louis hadn’t called her yet but was once again remembered he was too busy getting “shit faced” with all of his other mates. She should’ve been worried about him too, but she wasn’t. This is what he did whenever he wasn’t with Georgia. He’d get invited to all the school parties that were on, even ones that weren’t from their school. Louis was popular and everyone knew him. Don’t forget to include all the girls. The only one thing that Georgia was absolutely frustrated about was Eleanor. She’d been so rude to Georgia and Georgia had started off with being nothing but nice to her. Georgia could already sense that Eleanor would be all over him tonight, yes it annoyed her, but shit happened she guessed.
She was also more so worried about Niall. He hadn’t texted or called Georgia like he would every day. He wasn’t acting himself the whole way home, but she figured it was because Harry was an absolute dick to him. Niall was probably celebrating with the rest of everyone else, or his family. And that was one thing Georgia could understand. But she was yet to find out that wasn’t the case.
There was suddenly a constant knocking on Georgia’s front door. At first, she got quite a shock but then picked herself off of the couch and made her to the door, hesitantly opening the door she didn’t reconize the saturated figure in front of her, but then realised it was Niall. He looked a mess.
“Niall?” Georgia squeaked, “Are you okay?” For a few moments, Niall didn’t say anything; he just stood in the rain. Then finally he spoke, “No.. I’m not. Can I just please come in?” He pleaded.
