Today was going to be a good day. That's what Georgia had promised herself. It was going to be different, she wasn't going to wake up this morning on a bright shiny day and dread what was about come to face her. She was going to be excited.
Afterall, she finally felt she was fitting in.
The events of the just past weekend had been to an extreme, with her emotions running all over the place. Niall had really messed around with her head, and that wasn't something Georgia was prepared for. She wanted to smile, she wanted to be be able to see the sun again.
And someone very important had showed her that. It was Louis Tomlinson. Brown hair, slightly swished to the side with piercing blue eyes, that somewhat reminded Georgia of Niall's eyes. But she didn't like to think that. Georgia had always thought he was cute and friendly, maybe too friendly. Even when no one else acknowleged her in Drama, he was there to smile and ask how she was and what she did on the weekend. Louis had always made her happy.
She told Louis everything about herself, and excepted her and didn't judge or think any less of her. He said he'd look after he and although it sounded convincing, she wasn't sure of it. Yet, it was ever so satifying to hear.
But Georgia knew deep down inside, that it Louis was never going to be Niall. Ever. And as much as Georgia hated to admit it because of the way he threw his feelings around with her like it was nothing, she was always going to love Niall.
For now though, she was with Louis and happy. He saved her, and he made it seem like he cared, so much.
Georgia didn't know, that Niall would always care so much more. She was never going to know though, according to Niall himself.
It was time for her to go to school and this time, she wasn't going to be alone. She would have friends a boyfriend and at last, feel wanted.
"Hey buddy!" Niall felt a hand slap his back hard and turned around to see it was Zayn, "How was double music?"
"Hey man.. Pretty good, just ready for a feed," Niall replied while walking with Zayn into the main cafeteria.
Niall wasn't feeling his usual self today, and he could've said any other reason like he was tired, he was upset that things are over with Eden. But it was none of those reasons, in fact, it was Georgia. He hadn't seen her yet, but he knew he had the next two periods with Georiga in English and he was scared and nervous. One, because he wasn't sure what to say to her and two, she was now dating his best friend.
He wasn't really sure why he had gotten home from Liam's and decided to cry for at least an hour. It wasn't like Georgia was his, he shouldn't have got so upset about it. But he couldn't help it. Niall knew that any minute, the both of them would walk through hand in through the cafeteria to join the rest of the group and Niall wasn't sure if he was ready for it.
"So," Zayn started while interrupting Niall's thoughts and grabbing a pie with a coke, "Did you have fun on Saturday at Ruby's?"
"It was.. Alright, I wasn't particually enjoying it. Unlike you." Niall joked as he shoved Zayn while grabbing an apple. Suddenly, he wasn't feeling the need to eat a lot. He knew the conversation about Louis and Georgia would be brought up soon enough. Not just by voice, but by sight.
Zayn laughed, "Sometimes you just got to let loose a little, you know?"
Niall continued laughing with Zayn as they sat down on the large lunch table with everyone excluding Georgia and Louis.
And that's when in the corner of Niall's eye, he saw both Louis and Georgia make their way to the table. And not just his eyes were on the new "hottest" couple. Everyone in the room, had their full attention to them both.
