Little Things - A Niall Horan Fan Fiction

Chapter 2

Georgia couldn’t believe that the blonde Irish boy Niall Horan was sitting next her in English, she had dreamed of days like these, to be this close to him. It sent her mind around in circles and caused her heart to beat at an unusual pace, and that had never happened to her. This boy made her crazy from afar and she never really had much contact with him; until now. 

Niall never noticed Georgia this much, not until his girlfriend had done what she did in front of him to this innocent girl. He had been taking in her features from the corner of his eye the whole lesson, he hadn’t been listening to a word the teacher was saying about the book they were reading; Romeo & Juliet. He didn’t care though, he had read the book enough times, he knew basically every page back to front. Right now he was focussed on Georgia. Niall’s two favourite features about Georgia had to be her auburn hair and the way she had all of that hair placed to one side of her shoulder, also not to mention her bright green eyes, with long eyelashes; they reminded them of his friend’s Harry’s eyes, they seemed to stare into your soul until they made your heart ache. Niall also noticed Georgia’s very slim figure, a figure that wasn’t the healthy skinny, but on the verge of unhealthy skinny. He was so worried she was going to snap. Niall had no idea why he hadn’t noticed her in this class or in cooking. Probably because Georgia was so quiet and kept to herself. 

“Alright!” Mrs. Sainsbury said, interrupting Niall’s dreamy thoughts, “I need you all to pair up with a partner, as you’ll be working together for the next couple of weeks on this book and giving the whole class a re-cap of the story; and in detail! Due date will be told in a couple of days. So get paired up and start working!” 

Georgia awkwardly looked around, and yet again, everyone was finding their partner and Georgia would no doubt be with the class nerd Ben, who’d always cough and sneeze all over her. Georgia turned to assume Niall would’ve gone off with his friend Jake that he sits with every other day, but to her surprise he was still sitting next to her, looking at her with his bright blue orbs and a smile that showed his braces. “So,” Niall finally said, “When are we getting to work on this assignment George?” Georgia’s heart almost dropped, for one; he called her nickname that only her housekeeper calls her and two; Niall wanted to be her assignment partner. 

“Wh-what?” Georgia stuttered out. 

“Well, you want to be partner’s for this assignment, right?” Niall asked curiously, he wanted Georgia to be his partner as he was also getting sick of Jake talking about almost every girl at this school wanted his dick and not actually doing the work. It did Niall’s head in. 

“Yeah.. right.” Georgia nervously said, she was curious as to why he wanted to be her partner, maybe because he felt bad because of Eden, “Why me though? I mean, what about Jake?” 

Niall let out a laugh, “All Jake talks about is about how much his prized possession is wanted, plus, I thought it’d be nice to have a different partner, and you seem half decent.” He gave Georgia a wink, that made her heart flutter, how was this even happening to me? he’s gorgeous. Georgia thought to herself. 

“Thanks, I guess?” She giggled, feeling a little insulted, only to realise that Niall had a smirk planted across his face and was joking when he mentioned her being half decent. In fact, he thought Georgia was more than half decent, he thought she was perfect, and hated to admit it; was more perfect than Eden.

“I was joking about you being half decent, I guess a lot of people don’t really get my sarcasm.” Niall said in his Irish accent while running his fingers through his blonde hair.

“No, it’s okay, I get your sarcasm, hence the big smile on your face.” Georgia said laughing at Niall and playing with her long auburn hair. She’s beautiful. Niall thought to himself, the more he talked to Georgia, the more he seemed to want her. Not in the way you’d all think, he’d never objectify a girl as beautiful Georgia, he too almost forgot about his own girlfriend Eden. Somehow Georgia was so much more than Eden, first thing Niall pointed out was she wasn’t a complete up herself bitch, but Niall loved Eden, or so he thought.
