"What was that all about?" Louis asked as he carelessly threw his arm over Georgia's shoulder.
Georgia sighed, she had just had enough of Niall being the way he was. He needed to make his mind up, Georgia thought. One minute, he seemed to be in complete love with her and so protective over her, then the next minute he seemed he wanted to rip her head off. She knew Niall was jealous. But why did he care so much? She didn't belong to him, she wasn't some pet that was on a lesh and had to listen to Niall.
She was her own person.
"Nothing. He's just being a dick."
Louis knew he had cracked Niall, and although that was his best friend Louis was starting to think that his plan was working. And Georgia was happy so what harm was he really doing?
Harry had noticed that Niall had been completely frustrated and annoyed all day and he never got a chance to talk to him, so he decided that he'd talk to his friend as they were walking out of school together. "Hey man," Harry said as he playfully chucked his arm around Niall, who had looked up and slightly smiled, not really in the mood for Harry or anyone to talk to him today, but that didn't stop Harry, "Everything alright? You seem not like the usual cheery Niall, what's up?" He knew exactly what was up, he just wanted to get to the bottom of it. Liam wouldn't dare tell Harry because he knew that once he found out he'd be off to tell Louis. But Harry wasn't going to drop himself down to Louis's level, which was low. He honestly wanted to know what was wrong. He'd never seen a girl take such affect on Niall.
"I'm just having a shit day. My weekened was rough." Niall lied through his own teeth, and Harry wasn't going to take any of that crap.
He pulled Niall in close to him, "I don't want you to lie to me. We can talk about her, come to mine and we'll have a jam session and a few drinks?" Harry smiled.
Usually, Harry wasn't such a trustful person in Niall's eyes, but at the moment he was feeling down and Harry was wiling to cheer him and he really seemed that he wanted Niall to talk to him.
For the rest of the afternoon Georgia and Louis spent their time at Louis's apartment. Georgia had started painting for Louis, she wasn't sure what she was creating, for now it was just colours. Light blues, pinks, yellows and bright happy colours. Louis sat from afar admiring the work she was doing, it did mess up his apartment a lot, causing them to get into a paint fight; making paintballs and throwing them at each other. It followed by the both of them pracning around like complete fools dancing to Two Door Cinema Club. Georgia finally felt happy. Louis was all about fun, and that's what Georgia wanted. To have fun, to be able to smile and laugh until she was in stiches.
Louis fell onto the cloth that was covered in paint and covering his flood boards and sighed as he tried to get his breath back. Georgia joined him too, still having a giggling fit. Until, she fell into Louis's arms and said, "I love you."
Somehow, Louis was caught on his own words, he should've been able to say that he loved her back in a split second, he did that with every girl. But this time, he felt he couldn't. He could feel in every bone in his body that soon enough, he was going to hurt her. And he knew it was wrong, he knew he'd ruin a friendship and possibly make Niall hate him, but he wanted to prove to Niall that he couldn't keep his own feelings locked up.
Louis was just scared that he was going to get attached to Georgia. "Yeah..." Louis breathed uneasily, "Love you too."
For Georgia, her day had been amazing. Maybe apart from the situation with Niall, but all had been forgotten as she was with Louis. Being her old self. It put her into complete bliss. She was smiling, and this time she wasn't faking it and she had it worn on her face the whole way home. It had just hit dawn when she arrived home and she knew Kaylee was there at home because her car was parked in Georgia's driveway.
