“Ho-how did you get to my house?” Georgia managed to spit out. She wasn’t sure why Niall was here, or how he got here.
Niall smiled awkwardly, feeling a little rude he hadn’t text her or something to let Georgia know he was dropping by. He didn’t have her number, so it wasn’t entirely his fault. “Well, Harry text me your address and thought I should stop by to see if you were okay about what happened today.. Plus, I don’t have your number, so it wasn’t like I could’ve called you.”
“I’m fine.” Georgia lied, she didn’t want Niall getting in trouble with Eden for him dropping by. Little did she know that Niall had broke things off with her.
Niall could tell straight away that Georgia wasn’t just fine, it was written all over her face. “Please don’t lie to me Georgia. Can I come in? We can talk if you want?”
Georgia’s mood suddenly loosened up as Niall seemed to want to actually spend time with her, plus she wasn’t going to argue about that fact she lied to Niall. “Yeah.. Of course.” Georgia said, still feeling a little weary.
Georgia then stepped back inside of her house, this time with Niall. It felt strange letting a “friend” into her house, that never happened with her. Niall was curious as to why her parents weren’t home, that’s when he almost had forgotten that her parents had taken over one of the biggest music industries in the whole of UK, still, he wanted to know if they’d be home to look after Georgia, “Where’s your parents at?” Niall casually asked, while also admiring Georgia’s massive house.
“There in America right now, or somewhere like that. I don’t really know, mum hasn’t called me yet.”
Niall just nodded, feeling sorry for Georgia as she seemed to never know where her parents were at. He followed Georgia into the open lounge and sat down on the leather couches. He seemed to sink right into it.
Georgia sat down on the couch opposite Niall, trying not to get too close to him. Niall let out a sigh, not knowing why she felt the need to sit away from him. Niall begun to speak, “Georgia, about today, it-” But then Georgia interrupted him, “Yeah, I know. It’s best if I stay away from you all. Keep a distance like I used to, be the nobody that I actually am. I get it Niall, I’ve always got it.”
Niall was confused, “What are you talking about?”
Georgia began to work herself up and she knew for a fact that it wasn’t good for her, but she was so fragile and easy to break, “Niall, look at you; you’re popular, gorgeous and almost everyone can see it, and so are all your friends and as much as I hate to say it, so is Eden. Then there’s me, a teenager that has fucking no clue what to do with herself and is a mess. Do you think I belong with you all? I mean, Eden hates me, so as much as you try to make it work, it never will Niall.” Georgia felt tears prickling at the corner of her eyes.
Niall stood up and placed himself next to Georgia, who now, had her head slumped in her hands. Niall placed his arm around Georgia and quietly spoke, “Listen to me Georgia, I didn’t come here to tell you that you’re never allowed to breathe near me and my friends. In fact, I came here to tell you that after I saw Eden treat you the way she did, that I ended things with her,” Georgia looked up in surprise and Niall continued, “I couldn’t bare seeing her treat you like that. You- you seem like an amazing person and from that English class, I could tell you are so sweet and defiantly like the rest of us. I don’t want you sitting on your own at lunch, I don’t want you locked up in that room every weekend and I sure as hell don’t want you to fear getting up in the morning to face what you do every day. I am here to tell you that everything is going to be okay now, I’ve put her to a stop, or so I think and so have the other boys and the rest of the girls. We think you’re lovely, especially Ruby and Louis, we don’t want you to feel like shit. We want you to feel like you mean something and that you’re important, because to me, you already seem to mean a lot.”
