All eyes on her as she gives off a sheepish-embarrassed chuckle this was bad, very bad. She was covered in mud and as for her face, even without a mirror she could tell her face was smeared with dirt. She was finally in magicshille but in this situation she wont be here for long.
She had fallen right in the center of the main hall, there was the student body behind her and there were middle aged people in formal clothing standing on the stage in front of Kai. She guessed they were the professors, in the center there was an old lady who stood out the most, her eyes had certain reassuring warmth in them her hair were glimmering silver . The old lady then started walking towards Kai wrinkles covered her face, she gave her hand out to Kai, Kai took it and stood up. The lady looked into her Kai's eyes and removed one of the leaves entangled in her head.
"Oh dear you look awful!"
Well of course she did!
"Why don't you go sit there while we finish the entrance ceremony and then we can do the questions?" She said pointing out to the seat at the corner.
Kai didn't want to move her mouth since he face still had a thick layer of mud so she just nodded.
The lady went back to the stage and continued her speech while Kai was just thankful that the seats around her were empty. It seems like nobody likes to sit in the corner of the room , except for one girl who had short ginger hair and wore huge circular glasses, it seemed like she didn't want any attention. Alex turned around and gave a small wave and ginger haired shyly smiled and waved back. Kai turned back and tried to focus on the ceremony but all she could think about was how she was going to explain her situation.
"Thank you everyone, outside there is a board on which each of your dorm number is written" "you may now disperse, everyone except kai Avalon" oh no! Here it comes.
Everyone stood up and went away in whispers and the staff vanished too except for one middle aged lady with slicky raven black hair, she paced towards Kai in not a very pleased look. She stood in front of kai and said "follow me". And kai did so.
The lady was walking very fast so fast that sometimes Kai had to jog to catch up to her. After a few minutes they arrived in front of a huge gate with a beautiful design encarved on it. Above it was a sign that read 'headmistress molly braveheart'
The black haired lady knocked on the door.
"You may come in"
The door opened and the silver haired headmistress sat behind a huge desk in a chair. The lady who guided her hear now stool behind braveheart.
"Come here kai why don't you sit?" Braveheart said calmly
Kai sat and kept her pastel bag now not so pastel, beside her leg. "Now tell us what happened this morning?"
"Uh, so I woke up late got late"
"Does that explain the mud and on your body?" Braveheart smiled.
Good point "oh about that my teleportation trapdoor malfunctioned and i fell into a forest somewhere behind the school"
headmistress Braveheart had some terror on her face.
"Miss Avalon, did you know that forest has beasts capable of taking your life? It's astonishing that you live to tell the tale!" Said the headmistress in a somewhat calm but surprised tone.
The raven black haired lady gave a spine chilling stare at kai.
"Before we go ahead dear what is your ability?"
My ability!? Everyone has at least one ability in this world, might it be transformation, ice control or water manipulation etc. but the problem was... i don't know mine!
