5 | my plan is working?

Kai's POV

After the lunch fiasco. all of us went to our dorm. ally and Brianna took turns to wash themselves, while Lexi and I waited. I was pretty hungry since I barely got to eat anything in the cafeteria because of a certain person.

I jumped on my bed while Lexi plugged in her headphones. I put my hand inside my bag, don't ask why I just wanted to do it. my hand touched a plastic surface inside. whatever it was I took it out. It was a tiffin I quickly opened it to find out half a dozen sandwiches.

For the first time, I felt that dad's extra care was actually useful, at least a little bit. I jumped off my bed and went to Lexi and offered her my sandwiches which she gladly excepted. ally and Brianna had finished cleaning themselves and I walked towards them to offer them the sandwiches ally them , they took it without saying a word I could tell all of them were just as hungry as me.

even though one sandwich wasn't enough for my humongous stomach I told it to shut up and bear with it until dinner.

after that I turned around to ally "hey, do you know who that girl was?"

"oh, that is Ashley the queen bee of magicshille academy. Don't you think she is just so cool?!" Brianna answered before ally could.

"Totally" Lexi and I deadpanned, I had just spilled water on her and Brianna was still taking her side? What the heck!?

"Ok she is mean and awful but-

"And pathetic too" Lexi interrupted

"Mean awful and pathetic are just traits that come with being popular. Get it?"

"I don't know Brianna, my first impression of her ain't that good"

"She literally soaked you wet and you still want to be her friend i mean minion! that's disgusting look what she has done to poor ally" exclaimed Lexi. .

"Why do you wanna be her friend badly?" ally asked who had been quiet this whole time.

"Well she is popular"

"Is that really all?" I said with sarcasm

"And my mum thinks that I should only be friends with her"

"What why did she say that?! you should be able to choose your own friends!"

"I don't know okay! my mum is just like that!"

"What exactly happened at the cafeteria?" I said getting curious.

"I and Lexi were walking to a chair after getting our lunch trays when Brianna showed up cause she was hungry. Just when we were on our way to find an empty chair, Ashley bumped into me and she got really angry since a little of the food in my tray splashed onto her clothes" now that I think about it Ashley did have some stains on her yellow top.

"I said I'm sorry but she didn't listen and started insulting me, Brianna stood up for me but then her minions splashed her with water" ally continued "I was so glad about what you did when you showed up but now Ashley will probably try to kill you," she said half-joking.

"She can't get rid of me that easy" I smirked.

"Anyways thanks Kai and Lexi" ally said and turned to Brianna "thanks to you too".

Brianna turned beet red and then looked at me "you're welcome a-ally" ally looked at her as if she still expected something more "thanks kai and L-Lexi" she stuttered those words out. And I thought I was bad with thankyous.

"It was nothing," Lexi said "plus I actually enjoyed pouring juice on Ashley she deserved it more than you"

"Hey!" exclaimed Brianna.

And then the room was filled with laughter.

"We have to meet up with the rest of our teams for the diamond league in tommorow right?" said Lexi looking excited for the first time.

"Wait rest of the team? I know that there are teams but-

"Roommates and teams are the same except every team has seven members its usually one dorm paiered with another. most of the time its a four people dorm with a three people dorm. We are in a dorm of four so the other teammates will be another three students who we will meet tomorrow headmistress braveheart will also explain a few things.

"You mean we are teammates + roommates?! but also that that ashley could also be in team but  I am just so happy you guys are my teammates!" I basically screamed. I thought that teammates were different than roomies but-

"Me too" squealed ally and hugged me. We looked at Lexi.

"I'd rather be in your team than that Ashley brat," said Lexi not screaming but still counts then we ran towards her and wrapped our arms around her she slightly patted our backs which I will consider a hug okay!

We all then turned towards Brianna expecting something from her but she said nothing. okay, then that means ill have to use my weapon huh? I gave her my biggest puppy dog eyes.

" I guess you all are not that bad" she huffed and folded her arms. See it always works.

"Yes!" me and ally screamed jumping on the floor and jumped onto Brianna "you guys are gonna kill me!"

So much progress in one day?! Something tells me things will go just fine between us four for a while.

We spent the afternoon giggling and squealing. I told them about a few incidents in my old school which were all pretty much just me screwing up again and again.

A bit of a talk about crushes and drama queens.

Brianna was blushing as she told a story about a fifth-grade crush

Lexi didn't like the topic of crushes much so she changed it and started talking about how she had almost broken a kid's jaw while playing some game, While all of us laughed at that incident.

I'm so sorry about the short chapter but I thought it was better than uploading nothing. I'll be uploading the next chapter soon cuz I'm really hyped up about writing it! How do you think the boys are gonna be like?! is the girl crew gonna work out? what is evil ashley gonna do with Kai?!

Alsooooooo I'll be introducing the male the protagonist in the next chapter! I'm so excited bout this!
