Kai's POV
Soooo where were we-
Flashback - I was horrified and I realized a couple of things ... First, whatever this was, it's definitely not on our side. Second... the chocolate that is stuffed in my pockets is melting from all the heat of this situation.

The black dragon kinda thing-y got closer and caused chaos. Everyone started running but the professors controlled the situation and took the students to safety inside the castle.
While the seven of us ran and took cover behind another obstacle wall in the corner of the battleground because they forgot about us in all the chaos.
"What the heck is THAT?!" I exclaimed, panting from all the running.
"How the heck am I supposed to KNOW?!" Ashton said in the same tone as me, just a bit more annoyed.
"I don't know, aren't you supposed to have a brain or something else?" this time in a more controlled voice.
"Do you not have your own brain- wait, don't answer that"
And with that, I shrugged and Ashton rolled his eyes.
"So what do we do?"

And the next thing we know is that the wall we were hiding behind vanished. Yep and now we were facing the big dragon thingy again but it didn't take us long enough to turn our backs and run for our lives.
"What the-
"What does he want from us?!" Kyle yelled while running.
"Exactly we don't have anything to give anyways," Ally said.
"Ashton! Did you steal his girlfriend or something?!" I asked not joking.
"What? Ew no, I don't do girlfriends and especially NOT dragon ones"
"You mean you stole his boyfriend?! wow I didn't know you were bi but that's cool too!" and with that opened his mouth again like I was saying absurd things or maybe I was absurd.
"what no-
But he didn't get to finish whatever he was saying because Ally cut him off.
"Guys it's gaining on us" we turned back to look at the black dragon who was getting closer to us.
we are so dead.
While running a rock came I between us and we all got separated. Ashton, Conner, Brianna and Lexi went in the other direction while me, Ally and Kyle went in another.
while running i suddenly heard a voice.
"Kai! How are yo- dayum what is that?!" It was squee! She appeared out of nowhere though but this isn't the time to think about that.
"Squee!"
"What is that squirrel-ish bird?!" Kyle asked and the three of us hid behind another rock to gain some time and come out with a plan
"I am Squee! Pleased to meet you!"
"Wow it's so cute," Ally and Kyle say together and start to adore squee.
"Not the right time guys" I deadpan
"There's always time to adore cute things Kai" Kyle teases but I igone it.
"Why are you here Squee, can you help us?!" I turn my gaze to the yellow and blue creature.
"I can't" she pauses and then grins like a Cheshire cat
