Chapter - 11

An Encounter

The big gummy bear dinosaur with wings stood in front of me protecting me and the girl. Surprisingly the gummy dinosaur didn't vanish, heck it didn't even take much damage.

I looked around and saw the girl who stood up shakily and ran back toward the castle then turned around and said.

"I am going to inform headmistress braveheart that you all are still here, I am sure you'll get help" and she ran again.

"Greetings Kai, I am Zauro, at your command," the large green creature that just saved my life said turning towards me.

"Zauro?" I asked and he nodded, at least I think it was a 'he' from his voice. I was totally confused, where did it come from? was it me? it was the same gummy dinosaur which i had imagined about... was it a coincident?

The dragon attacked once again this time the attack was much powerful than the last one which took Zauro by surprise and it hit his back weakening him.

And it attacked once again, while Zauro winced in pain.

And again and again and again and I couldn't do anything.

Come on kai think! Everybody has a weak point!

That's when I noticed the dragon had a collar right around its neck and had a glowing heart in between it. That's it! That's its weak point, I think... I am not sure but I think it's worth a shot.

"Zauro! Attack right at that heart around its collar!"

It realised what I meant and quickly nodded and put forward a Crystal bow and arrow which appeared out of nowhere, pointed it towards the collar and released it.

It was a bullseye.

It hid right at the heart which started glowing even brighter and the dragon soon turned to dust. The collar however fell on the ground. The walls and stones that had vanished came back to their original positions, the dark clouds vanished as this had never happened.

"My work here is done kai, but if you need me again just call my name and I'll be there" then zauro disappeared.

Suddenly a spine chilling voice started speaking from the collar on the ground.

"This is not over yet the prince of mystic land, his friends and ofcourse, Kai Avalon whose fate is to get crushed by me. The dragon was just a puppet. the real game has not yet even started, oh we are going to have so much fun." And with that, the collar vanished.

All of us looked with horror at the place where the collar used to be. How did it know so much about us?! My fate was to get crushed? Whose voice was that? it did not seem pre-recorded, it was live. What did it want from us, from me?

"What the heck was that?!" Kyle broke my train of thoughts.

"I don't know, Kyle"

"Kai! You did it! You made your own magixia crezió '' squee flew towards me.

"A magi- what now?"

"A magixia crezio"

"What is this thing?" conner asked pointing towards squee

"I am not a thing I am squee!"

"Weird bird- squirrel" Ashton commented.

"What did ya say you little-

"Don't mind him, he's just like that squee, but do you know anything about that voice and all this?" I looked at squee and a look of horror took over her.

"she- she's back-

"Children! We have been looking for you all over the place!" It was braveheart! She stepped out of the castle with a few other professors who were in attack stance.

"Where did the dragon go?" She asked

"I- don't know" I said.

"Headmistress braveheart!" Squee exclaimed looking at the old lady.

"Squee?!"

Wait, they know each other?! What the heck is happening?

"I need to talk to you headmistress, it's very important, s-she's back, w- we always knew this would happen but-

"We'll talk about that as soon as we get these seven to get some rest, you all did well, I must say I am very impressed but scared, are any of you injured?"

"No, just slightly bruised" we all answered.

"Okay, professor gray, please take these students to the infirmary just to make sure while squee join me in my office please" after saying that braveheart turned around and squee followed her as they talked in low whispers.

"Hello students! Kai! We're meeting again now aren't we?" It was professor gray, he looked at all of us examining the mud and bruises on our faces.

"Yes professor," I said.

"Well then let's get you all checked out by nurse janice, okay?" He said smiling.

We all nodded and gray led us to the infirmary.

"What is happening? I am so confused" Brianna whispered in my ear as we walked in the corridors.

"Me too, this day is going way too fast" I sighed

"Where did the large gummy dinosaur thingy come from?" Lexi whispered.

"I don't know that either it just kinda came"

I looked behind and saw Ashton with a Grimm expression while Conner seemed to be in deep thought.

In a minute we reached the infirmary that was white cause duh infirmary's are white. A young lady around gray's age stood behind the desk who first smiled which quickly vanished as soon as she saw the condition we were in, and quickly dashed toward one of the drawers and got out a first aid box. Each of us sat on one of the white bed quietly. and gray took his leave.

"I am nurse Janice and it seems like you guys have had a rough day, huh?"

"Yeah you could say that" Kyle answered.

"Uhuh" I nodded in agreement.

"Well let's get all that bandaged" she smiled and walked towards Ashton with the first aid box.

"I don't need any bandages"

"You do Ashton"

"I don't, and don't tell me what to do, I know what's better for me than you do. Leave me alone" he spat. How uncivilised of him. Conner eyed Ashton but Kyle looked down not sure what to do.

"Just let him go nurse Janice, people like these don't deserve your attention anyways"

Janice looked hurt but moved towards ally next with some cotton and antiseptic.

Ashton stood up and left the infirmary the scowl not leaving his face. Rude much?

I couldn't help but think ashtons behaviour was unnatural, he seemed somewhat worried but he covered it up with anger. Maybe he knows something about this mess. And what about squee? She has surely knows something about all this... I need to ask her about all this as soon as Pawsible...not the time for puns Kai!
