"Crow, just listen to me." I said walking towards her. "Is she breathing, did you kill her like you almost did to me?" she hissed stepping backwards. I frowned looking back towards Avyannas' body. I noticed the slight movement of her chest moving up and down. "She's alive, just in her own dream." I smiled, turning my attention back to Crow. She didn't seem convinced so I backed away from both of them. She made her way to Avyanna, kneeling down just watching her. I sighed before walking off, if Crow wanted to talk she could come and get me. I wandered the emptiness for some amount of time wondering what would happen if Crow let me put her asleep. Part of me worried that I would be trapped here forever by myself but another part of me yearned to get back to the real world no matter the risk.
"(y/n), I need to talk with you," I was pulled away from my thoughts, looking at Crow. "Sure, what do you need?" I asked, she looked around, her posture gave away how uncomfortable she looked. "Can you do it again? I thought about it and I want to risk it." she said looking directly at me. There was a gleam in her eyes, like hope or confidence. "Okay, lets do it, lets get you into your own dream." I smiled walking over to her. "Ready? you will be able to control your own life and have your own family."
"I am, thank you for listening and helping me and Avyanna," she said, I nodded touched her forehead and focusing on a life she would like. A warmth went through me, I watched her eyes close and how she fell to the ground.
I made my way back to mirrors and looked around hoping for some clue. It all looked the same except when I turned back around the mirrors were sealed. I smiled for a moment turning away feeling slightly guilty? Sad?
It didn't matter, I was so close back to my life now that I couldn't focus on Crow or Avyanna. I looked up into nothingness. "Let me out, they're gone!" I screamed. Nothing, I paced for a while retracing my steps. I got here by over meditating so if I tried that again maybe just maybe it would work. I sat on the ground, closed my eyes and focused my energy into being in control and away from here. Everything faded and I appeared in front of the statue. It remained the same, cracked and black goo in between. Still no scythe. I walked over touching the statue and focusing more energy trying to make the goo go away. I opened my eyes noticing the good had turned to a silver and red which hardened keeping the statue together. Not to mention the scythe had appeared. Without thinking I grabbed it, the feeling tiny needles stabbing me began. I held back a scream, it wasn't as bad as the serum pain but I assume because I had basically been a human for a good while this was new to me again.
Black dots blocked my vision before I passed out. When I woke up it was a room, I let out a weak laugh. I had never been so glad to see the manor cellar. Maybe I would get lucky and they would be passing by. "Hello! Father, Adrian, everyone, I'm down here!" I called.
I waited for a moment not hearing or sensing anyone. "Guys! I'm hungry!" I called, it was true. I had been trapped in my mind for who knows how long. That's when the door opened. "Hello? Father?" I asked, I couldn't see up the stairs. No response, just footsteps getting closer.
(Done, I know this chapter isn't the longest but I wanted to get something out. I hope you liked it!)
