Chapter 31

I rolled out of bed and pulled the covers with me. I made a thud sound and groaned the floor was hard. I stood up and looked at Adrian's sleeping body next to me. I smiled to myself before setting the covers over him, I walked to the kitchen and started to bake a simple breakfast. I opened the window to let some fresh air in so it didn't get stuffy and made some eggs. I heard a grunt from Adrian then the shifting from the bed. I put the eggs on the plate and walked back to the bed right as he was sitting up. His white hair was a mess which would need to be brushed by me. I handed him the eggs and sat down in bed with him.

"Thanks (y/n)" he said before starting to eat. I nodded and ate mine, Adrian and I had grown closer. We ate quickly and changed into our clothes before leaving the house. We walked down the path and went to the clearing. "Now summon your weapon" he said making his appear. He had been training me slowly so I could turn back but first I needed to get my power under control.

I imagined my weapon and felt is form in my hand. I smiled at him getting a grin I. return. I watched him move quickly towards me with his scythe. I matched his speed making our scythes make contact. My speed and strength has increased immensely while my thinking was still flawed. I watched his eyes for any give away, I felt wind come to my leg before I jumped back. He had tried to trip me which had failed. I looked around before running to a tree and climbing it. I perched on the tree and let out a gasp as my sight disappeared and was replaced by a scene.

I watched undertaker climb the tree as I jumped to get away my foot was grabbed by him and so was tackled to the ground pinned by him.

My vision appeared right as undertaker came at me. I looked around not seeing another way. I jumped and grabbed the same branch but flipped onto it. I watched undertaker fly past me and land on his feet. He looked at me with a curious look before having his scythe disappear. "You saw something" I nodded jumping down and walking to him. "I saw your move to attack me" I explained. He let out a giggle before grabbing scythe and throwing it. I jumped into the air, grabbing it and rolling to a stand.

I looked at him in annoyance but he clapped. "Your getting better, your on guard more" he said walking over and kissing me. I kissed him back and backed up. "Let's continue" I said getting into my stance. He got into his and came at me.

We walked back to the cottage holding hands. We had finished and I had survived without cheating with my vision. We went inside and sat down on the couch.

"I think your ready to transform back" he said with a smile. I smiled back leaning into him.

"I am ready to be myself again"
