"Yes" he said, I shot up and looked at my arms to see them normal with no markings. I turned to Adrian with a big smile and hugged him tightly. He pulled back with a smile and held out his arm. "Shall we head back?"he asked, I took his arm with a nod. "We shall" I grinned. We walked back taking our time "why the forest?" I asked, I assumed it would have worked anywhere to get me back. "For beginners it is easier to do it while connected to the earth." He explained. I nodded not fully understanding "okay hippie" I joke.

I watched him smile opening the door for me. I smiled and walked in sitting down on the couch. "So will I have to do that every time?" I asked looking down at my hands. "The first few times but since you are so strong I would guess maybe twice more" he said getting some water from the tap.

I grabbed some fruits and vegetables from the garden. I had been stuck here for almost over a year now and decided to learn a new skill, gardening was one of the few I thought I could do without getting over it quickly. Gardening was a peaceful activity which also helped when I got mad. Adrian had left a few days after me turning normal again and he visits every now and then giving me updates.

Recently every demon, reaper and angel has been searching for me. I have concluded this place is charmed with protection magic. Father believes it will settle down in a few months which means I'm still stuck here but it's not so bad. I've grown accustom to this little cottage and forests. I walked into the cottage and washed off the stuff I had picked and set it in a fridge. I grabbed a book off the counter that Adrian left me and began reading. It talked about reaper history which I needed to know if I was going to pass being a reaper.

I turned the page and raised an eyebrow. It was a prophecy that a child born of reaper and demon would unite the worlds by surpassing each worlds strongest person. I don't think he wanted me to find this. Suddenly so many questions popped into my mind but the main one to sum them all up was Am I just a pawn?

I let out a scream as I threw a vase against the wall, I had been kept all these secrets since birth and suddenly got thrown into this mess because they kept me in the dark. I could feel a burning sensation in my body and let it take over, I slowly felt each piece of me change, I was transforming into my reaper form without any choice. I had to get my self under control before I did something stupid, I couldn't control my limbs as I watched myself destroy a chair and table with my scythe.

"(Y/n)?" I turned and saw Adrian in the door. Before I could try and say anything I remembered the book and felt my anger grow and then everything went black.
