Chapter 46

"Will you shut up!, we don't need anyone" she screamed. "No you shut up, I've been stuck down here alone and haven't seen my family in ages!" I screamed back. I didn't know where it came from but I kept going. "I didn't ask for you guys to be here, I just wanted a normal life, I didn't want to be part of a prophecy or to fight for my fucking life and others around me" I took a breath. The demon opened their mouth but I wouldn't hear it. "And when I'm trying to help the people who are hurting me more they decline! I'm so done with you two not listening because you are butt hurt" I growled. I stopped and bit the inside of my cheek watching her react.

"We never asked to be here trapped, ever think about that?" She said, her voice was a whisper now. I felt horrible, I didn't mean to actually hurt her I just wanted to get my emotions out. They began to walk off "wait!" She stopped but didn't look at me. "Just think about my help, please...I don't need you dying just see if you can find out about the serum." I sighed and walked off. She needed space, deep down I knew she was like me; the same age, and still learning.

"When did I become so wise" I asked to myself and chuckled. "Must have learned it from the best" I said my father and Adrian popping into my head. I walked back to the memory room and watched them. I closed my eyes feeling la sleight weight off my shoulders.

"(y/n)" I opened my eyes and screamed, the demon side was in front of me crouched. She put their hand on my mouth and looked around. "Be quiet, I thought about what you said and I checked it out. I removed her hand "and?" I asked, "they are still using the serum .... and the reaper side is in on it" She said having her voice crack. The reaper side? If anything I thought the demon side would do it but the reaper working with demons?

"We had a deal and she betrayed me" she spoke clenching her fists. I stared at her, she began to shake. "What should I call you?" I asked trying to change the subject, she look at me confused. "A name you want to be called?" I tried to clarify, she seemed stiff. "I don't have one...other then (y/n) but it never felt right" they said scratching their head.

"Hmm, how about maybe Crow? (If that's your name then change it)" I asked, she looked at me. "I mean your a demon and since you are me in a way my father was sometimes related with crows" I explained. She seemed hesitant but then grinned "I like it" she said. "Good, now let's try and help you out" I smiled. We got up and made our way back to the mirror, I let out a laugh as I ran to the now open mirror. Once out I stretched "we did it crow!" I exclaimed. I turned around and gasped "Crow!" I ran over to her, she was not on the ground unconscious.

I sat down and layer her head on my lap and touched her forehead. "Your burning up" I whispered. "Come on (y/n) get it together!" I said hitting my head. I set her back down and stood up, I looked up into the emptiness and screamed. "Get your ass down here reaper! Crow is dying and you don't care!" I yelled before kicking the air. I rushed back to Crow and sat on my knees and closed my eyes. "I can do this, breath in and out" I whispered, I let myself drift out of consciousness and began to enter a tunnel. I noticed a light and ran towards it, the closer I got the hotter it got. I noticed it became a flame, I reached toward it.

Once I had touched it I felt a warmth surround my body. I focused that warmth into my hands and imagined a glowing green light. As my hands got warmer I imagined the light getting bigger. After a while I felt a zap and screamed opening my eyes. I looked at Crow to see her seemingly healed and beginning to cough. "Thank god your okay" I said and hugged her.

"Very well done, I'm impressed"
